Some of the best games for PS3 are all 1st-party (developed and/or published by Sony). I wish the same could be said of Microsoft's 1st-party games.

Yeah, most of the definite must-buys for the PS3 are from Sony themselves. The rest... well, it depends on your tastes.

Thank you, Journey was a nice surprise, but the other two are kind of why I bought a PS3. Also to watch the Star Wars Blu-Rays.

The Uncharted series is next on my list. I'm waiting on the price to drop. Couldn't pass on the GoW bundle being all the games for $40. Unsure about Okami. Never beat it on Wii, so it might be a good move.

I don't really play FPSes because I get motion sick. :/ I also suck at online because of that reason.

Most recent ATM is CoDBlOps2 for the PC (it's both the cheapest and the best version of the game). I'm still looking for something portable to play after beating LBPV (going back and trying to 100% things isn't very fun and getting more useless stickers isn't really a good motivation), Gravity Rush isn't that much fun, Picross e doesn't always hit the spot and Ace Combat Joint Assault just has crappy missions. Also the PSV's exposed screen makes me unwilling to stick both it and my 3DS into my bag. Haven't even got a good phone game at hand.

Metro 2033 from the THQ humble bundle. On high it was playable, but threatened to murder my computer. Drop it to normal and it was very smooth, although it lost some of it's post apocalyptic atmosphere. As far as I can tell the game is completely linear unlike the Chernobyl series, but what it sacrifices from the sandbox is a much tighter world.

The scripting is a bit loose with characters continuing to speak when you are out of earshot especially when they talk about something important so you end up missing parts of the briefing or story.

The Chernobyl series is still better so far, but not by too much from what I have played so far. It more survival horror than RE5.

I have been looking to get that, but I haven't updated to Lion or Mountain Lion yet, plus I think I can wait till I get the GOTY edition. I can wait out the DLC.

Latest purchase was for Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space a space rouge like where you have a set amount of time to explore a sector of space for riches and glory or die trying. It's randomly generated so no two games are the same. It runs on windows but has an offical but unsupported Mac OSX\9 version that require Rossetta so it can't be played on anything higher than Snow Leopold.

It's pretty fun and sometimes a game can feel a bit short, although it's by design. FTL per game is longer than this. The combat can be a bit frustrating as most foes have a clear firepower and numerical advantage over you, however it can become something of a turkey shoot once you manage to get the ball rolling with the right tactics. The interface could do with some work as it feels like something from 10 years ago and the lack of numbers or detailed descriptions telling you what something does can be annoying, forcing significant amounts of trial and error.

Not a bad time waster for 2 or 3 bucks.

Jet Set Radio on Android. Liberation Maiden 3DS. Catherine PS3. I liked the demo and decided to buy it. Pokemon black and white 2, but I have not played it since I cant seem to be able to catch a certain pokemon. So frustrating.

I picked up Warioland 3 on Wednesday from eShop. I've only played it for an hour or so but am enjoying it so far (Shocker!).
