Does anyone know if system link will be available on the Wii? I scoured the net to no avail. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be possible (it would probably work in a similar way to the ds) and it would be great for games like Metroid and Red Steel.

Yep, reggie confirmed it way back at gdc 05 and game were play with system link at nintendo last few press event.

Still waiting on the word for single-disc wireless play, though.. That wasn't really confirmed; I think Merrick leaked it a while back.
