Ahh, Shawnst3er.  I found out about the fiasco after the fact, but the hilarity level of that thread was sky high.

He was really banned? I figured he just wisely took his leave after that whole thing.

Who was the guy that posted creepy/perverted fanfics about Zelda/Link/and friends, and I think eventually got banned or left because when people read his name they vomited and disembowled themselves?  I think his name had to do with Pigs .

Who was that PGC member who didn't play Super Smash Bros Melee because it was too kiddy, and didn't want to play Fire Emblem because the main character had blue hair?

That thread is crazy. I just read it out of pure interest and ... wow. That's all I have to say. The train wreck stuff was pretty hilarious as it died down. Definitely a no-no topic for a VG forum and usually a pretty taboo general discussion topic (same with politics). All I want to know is how that thread carried on for so long.

Oh god yes. That one was classic. I think i still have the image macro I posted somewhere. I do.

Honestly though. After playing the game myself, I found his concerns quite valid in a bizarre way.

This thread is very creepy...

Here's a couple of old school ones.

1.)This person supposedly memorized the entire script to Lufia 1 and 2.
This bit of information comes from the PlanetN2000 era of this site.
Doesn't really post here anymore.

2.)This person use to run a fan made GC website while it was still code named "Dolphin".
Use to post here alot untill he got a job at IGN.
Last time he posted here the forum took him to task about something he wrote.
Has never here posted since.

Two should be obvious, one not so much.

People like Bloodworth, Ian, and Perm might remember these people.
