BUMP!

This thread needs more love, and could be very useful if everyone posted bargains in here the second they see them.

I hear EB have a big pre-owned sale on right now, i'll go there soon and check it out. What else is going on?

Blol. I paid $25 for Mario Golf when Big W cleared all their GC games at a midnight sale back in January. Best 3am purchase ever.

I was in EB today. More than half the product was cleared off the shelf and there were dozens of empty cardboard boxes everywhere. I aksed the guy what was going on and he said there was a big sale starting tomorrow (the ninth). All the stuff they need to clear out will be really cheap, apparently. I'm not sure if this is different sale to the one Dasmos mentioned or not. Does EB synchronize its sales?

According to the Toys R Us catalog, you can get Donkey Konga with Bongos for $45.  When I went to have a look, I couldn't see any copies, though.  At Game Rush, though, I saw Jungle Beat with Bongos for $40 - $10 cheaper than if you order the bongos directly from Nintendo.  So I picked it up because, even though I don't really like Jungle Beat, how could I pass up a second pair of bongos with a game that's cheaper than buying the bongos on their own?

Also, Donkey Konga with Bongos at Game Rush Melbourne is $40 - looks like they're trying to get rid of their bongo sets.
It's got a duck bill, you moron!

Yeah, it's a decent sale I suppose, Kirby Air Ride is only $29.

There's no reason NOT to own a GC when it's only $98 =\

Good deal Aussie Ben. Are there any Game Rush stores in Sydney?

Sorry, I checked whitepages online and it looks like Game Rush is only in Victoria. :-(  But I'm picking up about three more copies of Jungle Beat for some guys at work. Heh heh.

Yay I got my second one! Last one they had, woohoo. I don't really know why I got it but the allure of platinum was too hard to refuse. (And i needed a new control!)

Makes sense. I'd value the Cube at $100 and Pokemon XD at zero.
