The half point was more because I felt torn on what to give it. I'm actually still not sure if a 7.5 is right. I might like it more or less after a second play through. And I really do think I'd have enjoyed a number of the Disney Renaissance films today a lot as well. The songs might not have been quite as memorable but I think they would have been very enjoyable films.

Kick Ass - 9 out of 10.

OMG. It's just so stupidly fun and really make syou feel like THAT COULD BE ME in all the fight scenes. Don't watch it if flashing lights causes you issues as there's a 5-7 minute segment of exclusively that towards the end.

I remember Time Bandits! I hated it. The ending was just depressing. Though now I want to watch it again to see how it stacks up to my memories.

Why did Sean Connery smile and wink at the young boy after his parents exploded? Was he just being a jerk?

Manhunter 8
Red Dragon 8

It would be funny to edit these movies together since they are the same, I like Edward Norton better than William Peterson, but I like Tom Noonan better than Ralph Feinnes. Still even so, they are still damn good in the movie. I like that
Ken Leung(miles-lost) makes an appearance.

Nightmare On Elms St 3:  6/10

Haven't seen this since I was a kid, but it held up better than i thought. Some of the effects were decent, where I expected utter cheese. What bugged me was the lack of plot, and I know i know.. its a slasher flick, but they could of at least tried giving us some back story aside from "oh we're dying cuz we're the last of the Elms Street Kids. I dunno, maybe i'm just trying to justify NOT giving this movie a 10/10 for being so bad its good.

Breckin Meyer is a tiny prepubescent pothead. I said wow?

I never saw this movie in theatres as a kid, so i had no idea it was in 3-d until my brother mentioned it while watching the dvd. Not that he had to as the ending was full of scenes  where characters were pointing **** at the camera hat looked super awkward.. lol

Kick Ass was Kick Ass and i enjoyed watching people getting their Asses Kicked.

Nic Cage was was a Bad Ass
Hit Girl was a Bad Ass
Kick Ass was.... ummmm The Peter Parker of Super Heroes
and this movie was Awesome.

Hope their is a sequel, or even better a Big Daddy/Hit Girl Prequel.
Big Daddy is the Batman minus the no killing conscience, and it was crazy to watch him go from Batman to the Joker
That whole scene was fucking intense.

I couldn't of said it better myself (about kick ass) that movie OWNED. I did walk away thinking it would've been better titled "hit girl" since she was the best part of it.

Oh and the cute girlfriend in this was also the cute chick from HTTM. she's.. cute! and has somewhat of a nude scene. Wasn't expecting that, and considering there were only 10 women in the entire theatre (yes, i counted.. it was weird) you could hear every other guys collective erections stretching out their jeans.

Tenure - Beardface/10

Enjoyable comedy with Luke Wilson and that dude from...Anchorman, Waiting, and Michael's friend on The Office. Involves the struggle to get tenure at a small university. Lots of funny moments and good character development.

AntiChrist & The Fourth Kind - WTF did I just watch in either of those movies!?

The former, it took me 4 times to make it through. Brief but really graphic(actual?) sex in the beginning and then some very twisted boner killing (no pun intended) scenes in the end that makes me wonder why I ever started watching that movie in the first place
::recalls looking for gross out movies a while back, but decides to keep that to myself::

The latter..... who's bright idea was it to make this movie. Am I supposed to believe it's real becayuse there are supposed "real" audio/video tapes to accompany the re-enactment with the actors? Sometimes they even go through the trouble of overlaying the audio on the actors and/or putting the video and movie side by side to.... break the illusion?? or is it supposed to re-enforce the whats going on? I have no idea, but either way it wasn't that good and probably should have just been a documentary since that's kinda how they started it in the beginning with Milla Jovovich's intro to the movie.

AntiChrist - 4/10
The Fourth Kind - 5/10
---------------------------------------------------

The Slammin' Salmon

Another Broken Lizard movie (Super Troopers, Beer Fest) that just seems to miss the mark. You'll recognize some of the usuals from their other movies and the comedy in this is similar to all their other movies that aren't Super Troopers(their only "good" movie). M.C. Duncan was probably the highlight of this film, and comedy isn't really his thing..... that says a lot about this movie, even though it is watchable and there are a few good moments.

The Slammin' Salmon - 6/10
