The General A classic silent movie by Buster Keaton. It's amazing how well the humor holds up Four Stars

The Birds

The pacing is terrific.  The special effects are a mixed bag--some of the things they do with actual birds is really impressive; some of the fake birds ... not so much.

Three and a half stars
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

It's pretty cool. The guy has such a nonchalant attitude to everything going on once he decides to start his new hobby and I am so jealous of his awesome Afro(he is a white guy but I was never able to grow one, you will love it). I really think you might like it.

I don't remember how I came across it, but I just added it to my netflix list like a week ago and it came in the mail on saturday.

Just watched "Go" (1999). I'm fascinated whenever movies do the whole intersecting paths of characters thing, and it was done well in this movie. Recommended.

that **** was great! He said it so excited and giddy, like he was so proud he thought of doing it lol.

I think my favorite part was when he had his team do the lil richard "OOOOOH" a few times, it was silly but cracked me up.

Ahhhh!!! It makes me sooo mad that Black Dynamite isn't playing anywhere within driving range of my house.

I'm gonna be forced to view it through other means unless I want to wait for the DVD.

and it has a 4.1 star rating on Netflix after 867 reviews.

I Love You, Man - 3/10
I heard good things about this movie, and I was *extremely* disappointed. I laughed maybe two times, and the movie in general, was a heaping pile of ****. it had such a great cast, but the script was horrible, and the conflicts were always settled way too easily. It sucks. Don't watch it.

i dunno man, looking back.. i can't of a single thing that was memorable enough to keep me laughing. Well, except for the fact that once, watching Knocked Up after seeing I Love You, Man i noticed Paul Rudd "slappen de bass" in that movie as well.

Night at the Museum 2 - 6.5/10

I wanted to go to sleep during part of it, but I'm really not a fan of Ben Stiller. This movie just wasn't that funny and not all that interesting. the first one was better if that counts for much.

edit: The main issue with this movie was that it was so heavily over advertised, that if you've seen the trailers on TV, you've seen almost every scene that you might have found funny if it had snuck up on you in the movie.
