I would disagree that mafia makes you more spectator. The greatest players manage to be quite active as mafia.

I agree with you, but what I meant was you have all the knowledge of whats going on so you are spectating and trying to give subtile nudges to the herd to direct them the way you want them to go which is fun trying to strike that balance.

Yeah I thought we had it but once TopHat told me that You and Oohhboy and he were a team, I had to go all in on trying to convince Stratos which sounds like it almost worked.  What really screwed us was the tie vote.  If even one was taken out in that vote we would have won on Friday...  but can't complain too much as any of us could have changed our vote to make one of them have more but we didn't.  Though we should have an incase of tie rule set up before it started.  Great job townies, you got your ... stuff together just in time. 

Also how come the townie alliance was so small untill the very end.  Did we keep picking off those that were investigated?

Why is that?  I thought is was quite fun.  Though being mafia does make you more of a spectator than being a townie does.

So close...  Do feel like the mafia got screwed a bit but overall pretty fun and balanced.  Seemed like one of the more participated games that I've been in for a while now.  Good job everyone!

So based on my conversations, it sounds like either oohhboy or Mop It up is claiming to be the investigator and pulled TopHat into the trio.  Stratos like me is probably a townie with no role.  So these are the possible scenarios I can come up with.

If nickmitch is absentee investigator that means the mafia can claim it fairly easily.  So supose 2 of the three (mop it up, oohhboy, tophat) are mafia and are looking to confuse the rest of the townies, voting a fellow mafia member out is a good way to garner trust.  Why they didn't use this tactic to just vote out another townie such as myself is beyond me.  But it is what it is.

Ok I'm confused...  I've been told to vote with Mop It Up and Oohhboy, but now we have too many votes.  At least one person has to be Mafia in here...

Now we have to get this right or we are done.  I'm afraid someone is pretending to be the investigator to convince us to vote their way.

The evidence I've seen so far shows Insanolord after being outed votes for oohhboy when he knows he is to be reveeled as to draw heat from him after specifically not voting for him the day before which would have put him ahead in votes.   Oohhboy can now act like a townie/investigator with less suspicion. 

I feel this is all too convienent and we are being manipulated.

Vote oohhboy.

With not much to go on I will vote Stratos since Lucario was voting for him and got whacked.  He also came in at the last minute to tie the vote for oohhboy so seems sketchy.  Staying low key it seems like the godfather or inspector but the inspector has not yeilded much and he has voted for many townies so that is unlikely.  so for now,

Vote Stratos.

The thing I find curious is that Stogi didn't die. Could have just been a mafia oversight, but Day 0 he claimed doctor, and in the rules it states that the doc can't save themselves. So they could have easily made the hit and take the chance that he actually is doc.


It was probably just a bluff on Stogi's end. But in any case, it's still odd.

Claiming to be the doctor and actually being the doctor are two different things, so it paints a target on him which means the real doctor can pick him to save.  Pretty neat game of chicken.  I doubt the real doctor would out themselves like that so that is why I'm fairly certain he's just a regular townie but he could be a lower level mafia member also, wolf in sheep's clothing sort of thing... However if that is the case, Bravo!
Edit on the same line of thinking:  Usually the Godfather is immune to investigations, so he may show up as townie anyway if he was mafia!

I can't vote Steve because last time I did he was the bomber and killed me, even thought that's not a role in this game, it may be glitchy.....  I'll vote Lolmonade as I don't necessarly agree with Stogi's logic completely, his move on day 0 screems townie so it is genius if he is mafia or reckless...

Silenced, why don't you cast a vote.  By not voting you making it seem like your more of a Mafia suspect as to not give out any information, plus you may spark a bandwagon for you.  Not voting in your position makes you seem more guilty.    Since we have little to go on at this point any info can only help us sort it out.
