Nintendo Gaming / Re: The OFFICIAL Big N rumor thread *bring your own salt*
« on: February 21, 2024, 08:19:12 PM »
I predict Prime 4 will just be a Switch 2 title.

Likely, that's all Switch 2 will have going for it for the first year. Other than backwards compatibility, and upgraded version of games.

Now the question is will Nintendo name Switch 2 something sensible like Switch 2, or something stupid that confuses people? Did they learn their lesson with the Wii U, or has the success of the Switch made them forget how Wii was successful too before Wii U came out?

It's kind of funny to think that the Switch has been out so long, that there is a generation of kids who don't understand the concept of an upgraded generation.

As far as I know. As long as they're using the same type of vendor for their GPU, upgrading existing games shouldn't be much of an issue. From a market capitalization perspective, Nintendo should stick with Nvidia.

The problem specifically for me (which doesn't affect the majority of people) with copious Switch ports is that I've been around a long time, and have most of the original games available and playable already.

The only problem I see with this is that a lot of old hardware/software is breaking down. As in decomposing. It's unpredictable what is going to last past 40 years. I was watching this video on some old Mac Hardware from 20 years ago that is no longer working or badly corroded. Even if it was kept in immaculate condition .

132.2 million?

Back in the Gamecube days the consoles was doing so abysmally poor and everyone was up on here talking all the time.

That's 6 times Gamecube sales!

At least Gamecube had Eternal Darkness.

TalkBack / Re: Nintendo Announces Development Of Live-Action Zelda Movie

20 years ago I would have been thrilled to see a Zelda movie.  Today? Eh, Hollywood blockbusters aren't made for me anymore.  I'm just not the target audience.  I see nothing but CG and self-referential quips that appeal to younger generations and it just doesn't appeal to me.  But I'm not really bothered by that either.  As long as the Zelda games remain good, that's all that matters to me.

Very few movies are as good as 100 miles from Hell. Which, I thoroughly enjoyed. If I was a billionaire producer, I'd really like to see what you guys do with a budget.

Nintendo Gaming / Re: Worried about Nintendo's games future...

It is cyclical. When Wii U was coming out here was this same sort of doom and gloom over the Wii U, which is surprising because Wii was such a hit. There was really nothing wrong with the Wii U. It just had a stupid name, and people thought it was an accessory. Had they called it the Ninja I bet it would have been a hit.

What is this a 2011 thread and the Wii U is about to drop?

As a Sony fan it's just the PS4. I never moved onto the ps5. I don't have money.  I've been broke since 2017.

Maybe hire the previous Daredevil people and just corral them on how the series is supposed to fit into the MCU and trust them.

15
I see Mad Men on a few of these. I really need to watch these. I watched some of them at the beginning and they were good but I was moving around that time.

Well I froze to death in the game, and thats nonsense. Every update makes the game less fun.

The Flash was both the number one movie and bombed(the first weekend)

they've almost made back their money. That just goes to show you... Don't spend so much money!

I liked the movie, but if it is a 300 million budge movie, I can't tell what they spent the money on.

The Flash Fun/10 I liked this one. It's very creamy.

I think in the comics he just takes a super serum much like Captain America. But whatever. You got radioactive spiders and jacked lions. How he gets his powers isn't that important. Maybe it'll be Deadpool good?

Black Mirror has returned

I don't think that account is going to make it to 20.

Guardians of the Galaxy 3  8.8/10  Great movie. I love the series. This was the best movie in the MCU since Infinity War. Or maybe No Way home. That was good too.

It's kind of amazing Nintendo hasn't done enormous price cut's to boost sales and it's still one of their best of all time.

Oh, yeah it is the problem when everyone is Eddie Murphy'd. When Everyone is the same person there needs to be some context. Especially for the plain clothed people.

But the two you were confused about are Carmine Falcone and Rupert Thorne. I can see the Thomas Wayne and Rupert Thorn getting mistaken given how he looked on Joker.

As far as the female versions. It depends on angle. My nose from a low angle looks very different from a high angle. I have a prominent chin, and an overbite at the same time. So, I could look very different at angles. The biggest difference I see is the arch of the eyebrow hair is inconsistent. Sometimes its flat, sometimes it's arched. And the cheek fat varies. I think the main thing the ai does when it feminizes is shrinks the chin and rounds the face.

I think when you put the faces closer together it's easier to compare their features. The biggest difference between Batgirl and Vicky and the others is their faces are obstructed. From a dead on view you can't really tell my nose curves or is bumpy. Change the angle just a bit and then it's noticeable.

I tried to keep the eyes with bane, but it's difficult. I pretty much had to draw the mask. It's cobbled together with parts of generations, but then drawn over.

I haven't done Thomas and Martha Wayne Yet. The only thing cosistant with their iterations is Martha's Pearl Necklace.  I have a more Tom Hardy version of Bane where the face is more visible.

and yeah, that's Baby Doll.
