So what else does EAD have?
« on: May 01, 2003, 08:10:26 PM »
Ok. About 1000 people work at EAD. That's a loooot. Consider this, burnout was designed by like 5 people. True, Ocarina of Time was developed by over a whopping 200 people, but that was one of the most high profile games ever.

So let's see what they are working on...
Animal Crossing 2
Mario 128
Mario Kart - should be finished or almost finished
Pikmin 2

I may have left out some stuff...but I count 4 games for 1000 people...what else could they be working on? Totally new franchises? Remakes (eck)? Do you think we'll see some surprises at E3, or only those listed?

Shiggy-sama has said that he is giving us something entirely new at E3, and from the way he was talking, I assumed it would be more than 1 project.
Once I had, a little game
I liked to crawl back into my brain
I think you know the game I mean

psst, Nintendo doesn't care about me or any of you so we can be as greedy as we want. Gimme gimme gimme! Why shouldn't I be greedy. Nintendo hoards all of their profits for backup which they won't need anytime soon, as they haven't recorded losses in a fiscal year for like 70 years or some crazy amount like that...

Actually, that is an old rumor than Planet Gamecube never updated....Nintendo never announced who was actually developing it, the NST thing was a rumor. But from Miyamoto's interviews it's safe to say that EAD is developing it....

I wouldn't say only racing games.  NST also made the Pokemon Puzzle League game for the N64

EAD's got a few tricks up their sleeves, especially with them farming out a lot of their big franchises to other developers.
