The bombardment of games continues and somehow the boys continue to play new games without drowning in the ever growing backlog.  Kicking us off, Perry dives into the third offering from 10tons with Time Recoil. It takes the look and feel of Jydge and Neon Chrome, but continues to put a twist on the gameplay. He also reviewed another game for the site and this time it’s Ittle Dew 2+, the latest release from Nicalis. This cute Zelda-lite game proves to be a delight, dishing up a load of humor. Casey on the other hand has been playing something much more gruesome. That’s right, he caved and picked up DOOM so he could take out hordes of demons. What’s most surprising is the amount of online fun he’s been having with it as well. After talking some DOOM, Casey talks about probably the most opposite game ever, the cute and charming world of Yoshi’s Island. This timeless gem holds up and is every bit as much fun today as it was in its hayday.

2017 might be the most insane Nintendo year of all time. Each week we’ve been spoiled with tons of quality offerings and this week is no different, but what’s most interesting is this week being carried by big name third party games. Rockstar, Bethseda, and Psyonix each bring out their big guns with L.A. Noire, DOOM, and the much anticipated Rocket League. Then pepper in Octodad, Cat Quest, Ittle Dew 2+, and more Neo Geo games and you’re sure to find something to play.

Heading into a relatively hearty News block, the boys talk updates to Super Bomberman R and Monopoly then move into release road, finally nailing down dates for Axiom Verge’s physical release, The End is Nigh, and Radiant Historia… which means we’ll be playing brand new 3DS games in the year 2018. An increase in the production of Switch? Sounds good to us, and the rumored numbers could have it flirting with overtaking a loved Nintendo console in just a year and change! There’s plenty more to talk about including Mario on the big screen, the rumor mill, and a pair of Nintendo games getting the nomination for GOTY.

"Never buy a nontendo game at launch day".

How odd publishers are searching for other ways to make money (lootboxes, dlc, ect)  :P:
