« on: August 06, 2013, 01:30:37 AM »

A dry-throated TYP and his late-night companion, Guillaume, discuss some quirky games and their tunes.

Did you like this episode's game selections? Let your fellow listeners know in TalkBack! Think you've got a better choice? Then send it my way and your request might be on the next episode of Radio Trivia: Podcast Edition!  Heck, throw in a question and specific songs if you want.  Just remember, it has to be a game found on a Nintendo system in North America (unless we say otherwise)!

Ouch... Tough list of games this time around!

Played (and greatly enjoyed) game #2, but didn't remember the music. It's available in the 3DS eShop and well worth the price for any old-school gamers. Being able to possess different enemies is a really neat idea and gives the game decent replay value.

Remember seeing the box art for game #5, but never actually tried playing. The reason I skipped the game will probably be pretty obvious to anyone who has listened to the episode, although YouTube makes it look kind of more interesting than I would've expected.

Glad you guys liked it. As I was editing the episode I was worried this round might have been too hard, but I guess it's healthy to have a stumper every once in a while.

I didn't get a single game either!

I would have liked to recognize Game 1, Lego City Undercover, since I really would like to play this game. I just haven't got to it yet! I know it's a game worth playing, for sure, and not just from Guillaume's recommendation. Soon, I hope.

And I have come very close to playing Game 2, Avenging Spirit. I consistently nominated and voted for the game over at Negative World whenever we had our monthly Retro Game Clubs. Since it was never selected, I should have went ahead and played it. I was glad to hear Guillaume talk about the game. It does sound interesting.

And the last three games I never played.

Always a pleasure to listen to game music and the commentary! Good job guys.
