I still need to actually get the game. :(

Is that a limited time only thing?  Or is it a permanent pricing?  Because I might be getting it for Christmas.  If I don't, I'll know where to go.
I hear that it's only $20 on newegg.com?

Everyone has it for $20 now.  Even Best Buy did when I went in there last night, and they're always the last to lower prices.

Haha, my bad.  It just kind of fell off my radar I guess.  Well, if I don't recieve it for Christmas, I know what I'll be getting with any money I receive.

And yet, this low price still wasn't enough to entice gamers like Ian into buying it. No wonder 3rd party games are struggling on the Wii; apparently you can't even sell them at blow-out prices!

Bump Heads!

Finally finished the game this morning. Glad I chose the real ending, the final battle is the best.

I got the game now, didn't seem very amazing so far and the combat feels repetitive but I guess that'll probably change later on.

Yeah but usually there's more how-do-I-do-this involved while most of the battles so far felt like applying the "recipe" for each enemy individually ("okay, these guys attack once, then get a combo on, block again, finish, next, repeat").

Things get harder later on and you have to start thinking that way.  The first couple levels are pretty easy so you can acclimate to the combat.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Yeah, that Irish guy at the end of the game was really tough. I finally beat him after about 5 tries, and it was really fun. It was a REAL challenge that requires skill instead of button mashing.

So, what's was everyone's favorite T-shirt? My favorite was the black one with flames on the bottom.

I thought about my combat style depending on my mood:

Do I want to defeat the enemies with minimum time/damage?  (some quick-kill tactics involve no button mashing)

Do I start the fight with high/low stance?  rush attack?  etc. (opening attack plus stance affects combo style and finishing waggle)

Do I just wanna WAGGLE?  (finish everyone off with WRESTLING MOVES, hell yeah!)

Like preceding poasters implied, tapping-A with one stance all the time will eventually become totally inefficient and get you stuck later in the game.  I thought the game ramps up the necessity for combat variety nicely.

NMH waggle finishers are like playing RE4:Wii with just the pistol for the sake of only-head-shots.  Guilty pleasures.

Thats the ONLY way i play RE4:Wii.

When i wanna make kills with min. effort I use the nunchuk waggle attack followed by A-prompted finishers and top it off with a nice "**** HEAD!" proclimation.

In RE4 I preferred the SMGs for that because they had a larger clip, if you don't use them full auto they can be pretty good headshotters too.

But the thrill of being vulnerable while reloading is half the fun!
