Nintendo Gaming / I am a 31 year old new GC owner
« on: February 24, 2003, 06:54:11 AM »
I am almost 37 years old and bought a Cube last year for the Super Smash Brothers Melee bundle pack. I have been a Nintendo fan ever since the early 1980s when my first experience playing Nintendo games were Donkey Kong and Mario Brothers. I have even been a subscriber to Nintendo Power since day one.

I have basically bought almost every system that Nintendo has released to the USA, except the Virtual Boy. However, I do have all the other systems currently out there, such as PS2 and the XBOX. However, I have been bored with the Playstation 2. The XBOX I have only a few games for it. Does this make me wanna stop playing the Cube games? Nope. I have plans to buy at least 10-15 games for the Cube this year.

I'd act out a little commercial if I was more sure of who Stiller is. Wasn't he Costanza's dad in Seinfeld?

Yeah, Jerry Stiller played George's dad in Seinfeld.

I can imagine what Bill Gates would do to get people to buy more XBOX software:

Simple!!! Get someone to sound and look like Jerry Lewis in advertising. Afterall, the French do love Jerry Lewis movies.

"Oh Lady!!! Why are you buying GameCube games when you can buy XBOX games. Oh Oh Oh....that Mario....he gives me a headache...a splitting headache....that pain....oh the horror"

It was a terrible game. However, it was much worse for me since it was one of those first games that had that manufacturing defect that caused the game not to load. I did eventually get the game to play, but only after the 100th or 101 time opening and shutting the CD door. The game was just another attempt to make a Mario 64 type game, and it was boring. Guess the defect was the first nail in the coffin for the Dreamcast.

No M games featured on Nintendo Power? I can name a few games that have been featured on Nintendo Power that have been M rated. Those include the Resident Evil series and even Mortal Kombat.
