If it was a vote change, that still doesn't make sense or at least you and stevey or Insanolord should be dead as well. They both had two votes a piece, while you only had one. So if a vote was changed to give you another vote from stevey or insanlord, then the other one should be dead as well.

Also, for the record, the main reason I didn't try to save TOPHATANT123 on the Day 1 vote was because I didn't know if I could actually get the off chance of a win with him around.

Well, it took awhile because there wasn't much to go on. The only clue I knew about was the following facts from the police:

I searched high and low through the Mafia forums to find some clue as to who could have done it but it turns out I was looking in the wrong place because while I took a break from the case in the console forums, I happened to stumble upon something quite be accident. I found out about this!
Choking somebody to death in Godfather: Black Hand Edition with the wiimote and nunchuk is still the most visceral thing I have ever done in a video game. It awoke something inside me...
