How would that help the situation?

Good point, the single player in 1 was boring as hell. But, pretty much every publication is saying how great the campaign is in H2 and that the repetitive level design of 1 is gone

I'm getting it tonight, I'll let you guys know how it is. Just remember that good scores don't necessarily mean an overhyped game. Maybe it's actually really good!?!1

"I'm wondering if it's any good as a solo experience. Most of the reviews I've read say it's decent, but not nearly as great as it is with a couple friends."

Yeah, it is really fun. It's not as good as the other Zelda games, but it's definitely still worth buying.

There is a coop mode, only it's not for the main game.I'm pretty sure it's for challenge mode, or something.

"Also, where is Makar? He got kidnapped by a bunch of dark arms that came out the floor and I know you need him to complete this temple. "

At or near the dungeon entrance.

edit: Unless he got put in that jail cell...not sure, as I haven't played in a while.

""The Toys R Us annual Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale is still on, and like last year it is split up.

DATES

- The sale will be October 17-23 for all Nintendo Gamecube games. Sorry no GBA games.
- October 24- October 30 for PS2 and XBox, yes you can mix and match.

DETAILS

-This sale will happen in all TRU stores in the United States of America. The sale has not been extended to the International stores as of right now. Once again, Canada is out of luck.
-When you buy the three games, the one that is the least expensive will be the free item. If you purchase three $50 games, you get a $50 game free.
-Eye Toy, DDR Bundles. Kareoke Revolution, Donkey Konga, and any other game along the same vein of game+accessory will be part of the sale.
-Because of how they are handled when it comes to inventory, presales will not count unless they come out the week oif the sale.
-The Amazon sale will be the exact same as last year as well, with the price restrictions and presale restrictions allowed. ""

Buy 2, get one of equal/lesser value free. Works with all games & prices, and the Gamecube sale started today. I heard you can mix and match, but I'm not sure.

Tales of Symphonia would definitely be up there, but I haven't played enough of it to know for sure (although it's great so far). Some other games worth picking up:

Ikaruga
Zelda: Four Swords
Timesplitters 2
Mario Kart: DD
Donkey Konga
Luigi's Mansion
Rogue Leader
Soul Calibur II
Zelda: Collector's Edition

"i went down to the mines and found the room i think i'm supposed to go to, with the laser thing that blasts pieces of wall away. the only problem was it looks like i allready got that artifact. is there anyway i can find a guide that tells me specifically where to find each NAMED artifact, i can not seem to find this last one. perhaps i am experiancing a glitch with my action replay and will need to start this damn game all over."

Go to the bottom level of that multi-level room (if you're on the laser platform just jump down), where the Elite is in a big case. Power bomb the base, beat the Elite, and get an artifact. And yeah, don't use an action replay.

Yeah, it's nice to have multiple consoles. I still like my Gamecube better, but they both have their pros and cons.  Send me a friend request at molobert if you want to play NHL 2k5 or something

Cool, I'll send you a friend request.

I like hitting people with the quarter turn+Y pogo stick move, and comboing it with the hard slash twirly move (I don't know the official terms). I haven't really figured out the flowers yet. And yeah, throwing is really helpful. I didn't use it at all before...mostly because it would only give me donuts

General Gaming / Faust is the MAN
« on: September 17, 2004, 01:39:04 PM »
I got Guilty Gear X2 #Reload a couple days ago, having never played a GG game before. I recognized Faust from the PGC boards, so naturally I started with him. He may not be very noob-friendly, but he's now my main man. Faust has THE coolest moves, such as the one where he throws a mini-Faust that runs toward the enemy and blows up. The grab is pretty sweet too. In conclusion, if you guys haven't had a chance to try Faust out yet, you should do so ASAP

Oh and if any of you guys have the game, send me a friend invite at molobert.

Skies of Arcadia: Legends is a great RPG, and it was one of my firsts so it should be good for you. Plus it's only $20 at most places.

Do you have the wavebuster (Chozo Ruins), flamethrower (Phazon Mines), and the ice spreader (Magmoor Caverns)?

That is awesome. I've been to that Imax and it's gigantic. I might have to go to this, it's only 30 minutes away from my house
