NWR Feedback / New Forums BUG DISCUSSION
« on: February 01, 2003, 12:57:34 PM »
1) There was a problem this morning where I could not login, but that is obviously fixed.
2) The forums seem to have a little slowness, is that normal?

Sorry for all the questions.

With the talkback forum, it says that only PGC staff can post new threads there.

Anyway, below that, it says the Trivia Forum is reply-only.

Could not the talkback forum be made reply-only too so that non-moderators (non PGC staff) could not make new threads there?

Fully poseable doll, er ... ACTION FIGURE.

For those of you wanting your very own pocket-sized Samus Aran, wait no longer! for just $13.95, you can have your very own Samus Aran action figure from the fine folks at Die Cast Express.  It's officially licensed, and comes with a collector's card and codes for some of the Metroid games.

Want to see what she looks like?  Well, you're going to need to get over to Die Case Express to see it!

NWR Feedback / Why Fuse Talk?

Ah.

I was thinking the delete post ability would be something that would help PGC.

Say someone gets mad, and posts something not-so-nice and rule-breaking.  If they could delete it right after they realize that then that would mean mods wouldn't have to go in and lock it and/or do a banning.

Nintendo Gaming / GameCube's Appeal to the Teen Audience
« on: January 31, 2003, 07:02:45 PM »
I think that Nintendo has a problem appealing to the average teen audience.

For example, much of thier advertising does not occour on TV-slots and programs aimed at teens.  Also, thier M-rated titles don't get enough publicity and advertisement, and as a result, a loot of teens think the GameCube is a kiddy console, espically compared to Microsoft's Xbox.

In fact, I know a lot of people who look down on the GameCube.  These people were NES, SNES, Game Boy, and even N64 owners.  But this generation, they've gone the way of Microsoft, fully supporting thier Xbox, but dissing the GCN.

Its odd, because it seems like Microsoft is making its Xbox look better by simply getting more informaton and advertising out to the public.

General Gaming / Phantasy Star Online: XBOX Version.

The 60 day period seems pretty good, 2x as long as GCN.

But 8.95 a month and you need Live too?

What's with that, I think the cost of Live alone should be enough.

NWR Feedback / Why Fuse Talk?
« on: January 31, 2003, 06:53:29 PM »
Why did PGC pick FuseTalk as opposed to vBulliten or PHPBB (which are faster due to PHP)?

Also, can I delete my own posts now?
