It is absurd.  No matter how you slice it.  How can you make the assumption the DS will be the best system ever when you haven't even held it in your hands, let alone played a single game on it.  Sure, the DS sounds very promising and has the potential to be a great system; even I am excited about it.  But shouldn't the time to judge whether a system fulfilled it's potential and had great games is after or close to the end of it's life cycle?

Seeing the new trailer made me want the game more!  Nice seeing more cutscenes of the game.

The camera view showing Ashley's ass, errrr, back end, when she crawls was the highlight of the trailer!

Reporting here to say I've given up on Azumanga Diaoh.  Saw 8 episodes.  While the character designs are good, I didn't find the show to be funny (except the first few) and predictable in some scenes.  And I didn't like the slow pacing in some of the scenes ie: Sakaki patting Chiyo's dog for minute (WTF?), among others and kamineko got tiresome too fast.

I don't agree.  The video game market is almost entirely comprised of teenagers and 'college people'.  I don't think it would be worth Sony's while to make a gaming system they'll likely lose money on for maybe 10% of the gaming population.

I didn't say whether targeting that age group will be successful.

Does it ever to occur to you people that maybe the xbox does have games that appeal to some people?  I don't like xbox like many of you do, but that doesn't mean it outright sucks.  I know someone who has one and is happy with the games.  Good for him.  Not everyone likes Nintendo games.

You fanboys need to re-examine what the PSP really is.  Of cause the PSP is gonna be around the $300-$350 range for what you are getting.  Sony are not targeting you people, ie: kids and college people.  They are targeting people in the mid-20s and above who like to buying expensive gadgets and so forth.  I wouldn't say Sony is downright stupid (I would like to see you run a big electronic corporation).  Sure, they have gotten arrogance over the years, but they are not stupid as you folks claim.  They are cunning, whether you like it or not.  They didn't become #1 in the consoles wars for nothing.  And keep this in mind: the GC is cheaper than the PS2.  Did that result GC > PS2 sales?  No.  That proves people are willing to pay more for a console that costs more over a cheaper one.

The handheld market will be a true test for Sony, I won't deny that.  But the PSP will have it's initial appeal to the market they are targeting.  Will it be successful?  Out sell the DS?  Only time will tell.

Super Monkey Ball 1 - target and golf

Super Monkey Ball 2 - target 2 (yes, both are good, but somewhat different), bowling 2 (especially "crazy lanes" mode for maximum lol!)

Not F-Zero GX - A no no no.  I don't like multi-player b/c you loose the sense of speed.

The super slim design looks nice, but I would've preferred it to be a front loader b/c I had the perfect space to put it in.

USD$149.99 = AUD$213.49.  No way it'll be AUD$199.  How much was the GBA SP at launch in the US?  USD$100 IIRC?  Here, it was AUD$200.  That's double without factoring the currency exchange rate.

I'd say the DS will be $249 if we are lucky.
