@broodwars

I beat the Vita version and can confirm a large number of crashes. I even got a crash during the final boss. The reviewer at our sister site also encountered several crashes on the PS4 version.

I tested the Wii U version as well and was met with crashes.

Bought Escape Vector on Vita for $3.99 and purchased Duck Tales on PS3 for $12. Sony continues to undercut Nintendo, at least if you're a PS+ member. Then people ask why 3rd party Wii U sales suck...

3
It's all quite understandable. Ubisoft DID say that Wii U sales only took up %3 of its game sales last quarter. That's pathetic. I love Nintendo, but if I were a third-party I'd never release for the Wii U unless Nintendo paid me an absorbent amount of money.

So what will the price be down to?

5
Or you could buy the game on the PS3/360...

In all honesty, the only reason the PC version is cheaper is because the company doesn't have to pay a licensing fee, while Warner Bros has to pay Nintendo about $10 per copy sold when the game is sold on Wii U.

Last quarter was April, May and June.  The only Wii U game released in that time was a crappy Wario Ware spinoff at the very end of June.  In comparison this Fall has a main Sonic, Donkey Kong, Mario & Sonic, 3D Mario, Wii Party, and Wii Fit.  Also Nintendo hardware always gets a huge increase during the holiday season.

Once again this is just like the original DS and 3DS.  Both systems sold like **** at first because of lack of games, but when the major titles started coming out sales increased.  Hell, for the 3DS, Mario 3D Land and Mario 3D Kart alone carried the system during the 2011 holiday in the West into the first half of 2012.  The Wii U has one of the strongest holiday lineups in Nintendo history this Fall and has Mario Kart 8 coming out in the first half of 2014.

The 3DS is currently showing that Nintendo software is still very popular.  Once the Wii U starts getting the games it'll be just fine as well.

The 3DS/DS NEVER sold this bad.

I don't think there's any way to possibly put a positive spin on those Wii U sales. It's quite unfortunate, really. Good for 3DS, though.

No Wii U eShop games? The usual!

9
I love Nintendo, I really do. I buy every system they put out, and most of they games they put out as well. I'll be the first to point out their shortcomings as well, and the lack of achievements is one of them.

... I'll just wait for X/Y...

I put 35 hours into the game after two weeks. After a month I put the game down and realized that I had a backlog I needed to play through.

13
*cough* Achievements! *cough*

Why would I ever buy a 3rd party game for Wii U when I could buy the game for PS3 and get trophies for completing the game. I don't get any rewards on Wii U for completing the game; but on PS3 I don't have to explicitely tell people I beat the game in order for them to know that I did.

I cannot understand why this hasn't been implemented yet.

Meh. Too little. I usually buy retail. A $5 drop isn't enough for me to change that.

I'll be buying The Wonderful 101, but I DOUBT it will sell well at all.

We can only wish that these will appear on Nintendo systems. I think a 3DS game is much more probable than a Wii U one, though. Wii U isn't doing very well and developers don't want to take risks on it.

Great value. For $10 you get an infinite number of levels!

18
Didn't I just beat an Etrian Odyssey game? They take close to 75 hours, I can't do two in one year. I'm sorry.

This game looks so awesome! Only $10 for an infinite number of levels.

20
The number sounds quite reasonable, especially when EA wanted Dead Space 3 to sell 5 million.

Nintendo should've covered the difference so that the game broke even, then funded a sequel.
