A simple, understated way to try and catch 'em all
Today's Treehouse Live introduced information about Pokémon Go and its accessory.
The Pokémon Go Plus is estimated to launch in "late July" currently, though the date may slip if the game's release does. Releasing at a MSRP of US$34.99, it will connect to the iPhone or Android device using Bluetooth LE (low energy) and allows for catching of Pokémon and item finding with a single button click, glowing different colors depending on the success of the catch.
Pokémon Go proper was also announced to feature Pokémon beyond the original 151 and some form of connectivity with the main Pokémon games at a later date.
