Just made the switch yesterday.  The only thing that's really lacking for me in Chrome is the ability to customize button positions.  I had gotten used to that.  And the stupid "other bookmarks" folder that needs to die.


But I can't beat the speed of Chrome and just the light weight efficient "feel" of the whole thing.  Plus it let me double my score in Robot Unicorn Attack since Firefox slowed to a crawl every time I played a flash game, so that's a plus.

Body switching ep was pretty good overall.  All Fry and Leela pseudo-dating aside.  Mop Bucket and Scruffy was the best part.

No it did not.  I think what really bothers me is that I always had this perception of Futrama as one of the few shows that didn't just "reset" at the end.  Things changed, people and their relationships changed throughout the series, and although most episodes are standalone adventures, if you saw past episodes you could see how some things led to current situations and maybe "get" the universe a little better.

It just seems to me that they don't really care about that stuff anymore and are just gonna do whatever they want to the characters and ignore it the very next week.  Maybe it's my fault for having that perception of the show in the first place, and it was always like this, but I certainly don't remember it.

I know this is a stupid thing to bitch about, but I'm gonna do it anyway.  Gotta live up to that PGC slogan!  Could they REALLY not keep the Earth's flipped rotation through to the very next episode?

I did really enjoy the robo-dinosaurs though.  In fact I think I wanted the whole episode to be robo-dinosaurs battling each other.  It's true, I never developed mentally after 12.

The funny thing is that I think Pro had meant to get banned in a great blaze of glory, only it was more of a 'wtf' followed by a temp ban. He's no longer banned, but he has yet to log in since the incident.

So, Pro banned NWR?

Is Spike/TheRat still sneaking around?

The Rat was banned, and Spike pops up every once in awhile.

Still my favorite meltdown if I remember correctly.

One thing I haven't really enjoyed with the new season is that they keep going and fucking around with things just for the sake of it.  Like, Leela has a growth on her ass that sings and it's been there her WHOLE LIFE but we've never noticed and we never will again.  Fry and Leela are like, seeing each other or something, but sometimes they're not when they don't care and want to have Leela **** Zap again for some reason.  Or the recent time travel episode.

Maybe I'm just taking the show too seriously for what it is, but one of the things I always like about it was that it did have this heart behind all the humor and a somewhat consistent universe.

Mop it up, are you serious? The ONLY episode I would say is bad is the one where Bender turns into a were-car.

What's wrong with that episode?  Been awhile since I've seen it but I don't remember it being a particularly poor experience.

And Sprint is still the best, 57 bucks a month (even less for some lucky bastards) for unlimited data, 450 minutes and unlimited mobile to mobile calling?  Yell hes.

I used to fancy the iPhone, but now that I've used webOS I can't bring myself to downgrade to a phone that can't multitask properly.  And when I use my roommates iPhone 3G I always find myself trying to use gestures like back swipe to get out of programs and wondering why it's not working.  I don't need 80,000 **** apps cluttering up my phone, so as long as I have ones that are truly useful to me I'm happy.  The only appeal iPhones have for me at this point is that if I was on AT&T and had one, it would eliminate my need for an iPod.  But I can live with two devices and I don't need to carry around my entire music library with me at ALL times.  Too bad Palm's hardware is so shitty, now that they're an HP subsidiary and can actually afford to spend some money I'm hoping their next phones will be up to par with their software.

How do you deal with it?  Do you believe in an afterlife?

I've just been thinking recently (after ignoring it for about a decade), how eventually, the time will come when I die.  I don't believe in an afterlife, and it's hard to wrap my head around the idea that eventually, I will cease to exist, and every memory I've ever experienced will disappear and it will basically be as if I've never existed.  At least to me, 'cause I'll be dead.  Deep ****, yo, for real.  It's one of those things that I don't want to think about, but it keeps gnawing away at me, essentially making life meaningless.  It makes you feel completely insignificant.

Is that how you feel, or do you think that you have a higher purpose, or that you'll continue to live on and that this is only a "layer" of existence that us mere mortals are unable to truly grasp intellectually?  Or perhaps that all that matters is what you leave behind for "the next generation"?
