Oh wait, there we go! Loaded ahoy!
Mario Kart: DD sounds boring over LAN. Give me split screen anyday. I can WIN by passing gas. It's brilliant.

It is the moment for little Tremin9!

4000th post is Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine!
*cries*
I would like to thank my family for all their support, my friends for all their unlimited supplies of KFC Gravy and Chocolate Mousse, and of course, the Aussie Gang, for making this all possible.
It wasn't easy, but we made it!
Hooray! And like Shifty said, a feast of nachos and and cheese is in order!

Termin8 wins the award for being pretty cool. If only his post was as cool as he is.

Kinda sad actually

And LAN play will never replace the mayhem of controller unpluggings and surprise beatings that myself and friends did, originating in the N64 days. Man we were sore losers back then!

I had a friend go see it, and he said it wasn't...Though I really have no idea what what would scare you...Personally, hack-n-slash movies don't scare me at all...The psychological stuff is what gets me...

Oh, Mario, that was very um... harsh? Funny?  I don't know.

What's up with the aussie avatars?

As for horror movies, almost 100% of them don't do anything but entertain me, but don't scare me.

GCN sales in Australia are up 65%

What's up with the aussie avatars?

Gather round wee ones, and I'll tell ye a story. A magical story, about the invaders and the resistance, that stretches way back to the dawn of this forum.
Originally, this thread was our own little place, for us Australian Nintendoists to chat, bitch and gloat - the same as anyone else. However, this thread was because the Australians only really understood what had been happened. Hell, NOAus doesn't know what's happening here half the time.
So, the small troop of Aussies continued to post, discuss and rant, and as time went by, others joined in our bad humour and the thread grew.

Now, this thread is beyond our control. Tis sad, I know. But the ugly head of spam has reared its head, and we do not have the hit points or magic weaponry to fight it.
This thread will live on, unless the moderators decide to lock it, but us original Aussies do not like the thread anymore, mostly because it does not serve its purpose.

The avatar is just a way of identifying that group, without the need for elitist threads like the Aussie thread.

It's quiet annoying when I go to read these forums about Gamecube happenings in Australia I read absolute random crap down the page. What is wrong with you people?

Swordsplay You're complaining about being attacked for spamming the board and bragging about some abstract post count.  If you can't even say something vaguely relevant to the discussion, don't expect me to defend you.

MarioDespite your frustration, that pic was too much.  Even if someone's being childish, you don't have the right to be a complete jerk.

Everyone I think it's time to lay this thread down and start anew.

Why don't the pure-breed Aussies and us adopted Assusies (as I am one of the originals, I think) just take it back.  I think Mario has been trying to for a while, at least he gives me the impression that he has been, brings to mind the picture he has a few post above.

I post in this thread because it is an extension that allows me to converse with Shifty, Mario, Termin8, and Infernal, and JoeyJoJo, when I don't sign in to talk with you otherwise.  Also Berto.  If you are on my list, and you know you are if I chatted with you before, then this thread is just another avenue to reach you.
