Dementium
« on: December 12, 2007, 12:11:46 AM »
first person survival horror.

this is a great game. it has the same control scheme as MP:Hunters. At the start, there is just you, darkness and a big monster dragging a girl down the hallway.

then you find a flashlight. so at least you can see them before they attack you.

DS Phat owners, you'll not be too happy in a lighted room, the game is dark. However, you will be right at home in a darker (or dark) room. I tried both the Phat and Lite in the dark, have to say, the dimmer screen only added to the ambience.

Oh. Turn.The.Sound.Up. The sound on this game is great.

im glad someone likes it. the few reviesws i've read all trash the game which is dissapointing since (as far as i know) this is the only Mature rated game on DS. i havent bought a new DS game since NSMB, and i only have like 6 games so i've been looking for something new. this game should be it

Put that student loan money towards the purchase of a DS lite. ;) Its cost is probably equal to 3 or 4 of those weird 3rd party games you splurge on. :p

Hmm, I'm up to the first boss, who is kicking my tail. I was hoping for more plot than this. Does it get more better?

i had the same problem when i first picked it up. I think i mentioned it but i got the first Pheonix Wright, Contact, and Dimentium the same day and PW blew them all out of the water. I got as far as the first boss in D:TW, and the first "dungeon" in Contact, but PW got all my attention. The second i finished it i had went out and got 2 and 3. By the time i was done with 3, Apollo Justice showed up on the scene, now i'm currently playing Phantom Hourglass that i just bought (i know, i know.. super late) and i'm loving this.

I tried playing Dimentium the other day and i still cant get passed that first boss. I'm even using those "comfort stylus" things so i can bend it around my thumb and aim more smoothly but its not helping. I think my problem is its hard to run in that stupid game. I want to finish it.. maybe after Zelda.. if i dont buy Contra 4 by then :(
