NWR Mafia Games / Mafia LV: Mage's Mystery Day Two
« on: November 08, 2011, 06:44:33 AM »
Before I do the story, let me apologize for saying voting was going to end at 12pm. I meant to say 12am. So let me be clear; for today's voting, this thread will be closed at 12am EST, November 9th 2011. I'll get the item and dead threads up soon, but from now on, unless you take damage I'm not going to PM you your hp totals. That was my original plan, but since I forgot to send hp totals with roles, I did it for today. Don't forget to check yesterday's thread for an ending day story.

The members of the council woke slowly, fearing the outcome of their vote, or lack thereof. They still felt a draw to gather in the council room, but it was not nearly as powerful as yesterday's and so they took their time to get there, dragging their feet, fearing the truth.

Rather than a blue orb, it was the head of councilman Godfrey that was magically suspended in the middle of the room.

This is the result of both your action and inaction. The blue orb said from inside Godfrey's head. You must live with the truth of this result, but you are urged to continue diligently for the safety and security of Leoria!

With that, both orb and severed head disappeared, and the room's doors opened, allowing the servants to bring in breakfast of bacon, eggs, and bread.

"That blue orb told us to bring you conversational food, so here it is. It also told us to tell you to vote wisely."

The servants left, and the council started picking at the food, but none had much of an appetite, or desire to speak first.

The quiet engulfing the council room was finally broken by a brave and verbose soul who immediately pointed a finger at the person sitting across from him. He had been asleep before, dreaming of black powder and sharp swords but upon waking there was only one name on his lips: "jrlibrarian!"

Suddenly, the misty orb reappeared and entranced everyone with its magic. The new names of all the people sitting at the table were revealed mentally to all others, and imprinted in their minds. Released from the magic, and now aware of how to vote, they all stared at the one now called jrlibrarian and wondered with what purpose the sleeping Khushrenada had called out his name, but "a dream" was all he could whisper before sleeping again.

"The orb!" someone shouted.

Khushrenada desired to be the first to vote, but magic made him slumber. His desire spoke to the magic in this orb and some of its magic was used to wake him that he might cast his vote and have it validated. Be brave council, too many lives rest upon your decisions.

"Who controls this orb?" An unnoticed voiced shouted.

"It is filled with the magic of Zaden, is it any wonder that it is so powerful and aware?"

That settled it.

Despite the orbs warning, more silence followed until two more votes were cast, one of them the death note for jrlibrarian.

The orb returned once more to dismiss the council from the room.

jrlibrarian lay in his assigned bed, wondering how his death would come to him. He walked out of the council room with his head held high, not saying nary a word to anyone, but knowing the truth of his innocence, and hoping to convince his executioner of it.

"YOU!" jrlibrarian shouted. "But, you were in the room with us! Do you know who we are, and you must be..."

"Yes, I am Knight Jamisson, but it is the orb that directs my hand now."

"But I am council member Godfrey!"

"Even if I believed you, because of our current circumstance, the council's vote is as sacred as the king's decrees. You must die."

Death came mercifully swift to jrlibrarian, a swift horizontal slash from the Sword of Beauty that neatly removed his head. Removed from its shoulders, the head of jrlibrarian slowly changed to that of councilman Godfrey causing Jamisson to roar with displeasure.

"Why me?" he whispered, shaking his head and returning to his chambers.

And we're done, I was going to PM the people involved, but I'll just explain it here:

Someone used Sleep on Khushrenada, but I had been planning to give the first person to vote some sort of bonus, I just hadn't figured out what I should give/offer before going to sleep myself, but the ability uses, and the lack of voting, made it pretty obvious what bonus I should give.

In the books Dexter kills her, but I don't mind her because she's supposed to be a dislikeable character to give balance.

Voting and speaking out first in the last game was sure to make you a target. Since I'm not playing I can't garuntee that won't happen, but there's just over an hour left and no votes... Someone is going to have to go first, and don't forget to PM me ability uses.

31
Day they are used.

If you have any questions about the game, this would be the place to post them.

At dawn's first light, every man, woman, and child in Leoria's castle felt an innate pull to gather themselves in the council room.
When all were gathered, without warning the two opposite doors shut themselves, and a blue orb filled with a light mist manifested before them. Out of the orb came the voice of King Zaden III:

"I would welcome you all here, but the circumstances under which we gather are the worst I could have ever imagined. Among you, there are people who would seek to not only undermine my rule, but harm the citizens of Leoria. It is up to us to weed out this evil and protect our kingdom."

Murmurs of assent followed the king's statement, but the orb was not yet done:

"You have all been given names and appearances that will hide who you are, and in doing so, I hope that people's true intentions will be seen without the bias of history blinding the righteous. There are eight council members, myself, and two members of the Regal Guard who will take up the voting that will determine who is executed each night. You must all remain diligent, and sagacious. Trusting, but discerning. Unrelenting, but forgiving. As your king, I want this land to prosper, and its people to be happy. I fear that if we do not stop the usurpers, all hope for our people will be lost. We must fight, and we must win. Council be true!!"

Silenced followed the orb's evaporation, as those paying attention realized that there were thirteen people with their faces disfigured and wearing the blue robes that were supposed to signify them as members of the royal council; according to the king's orb, there should only have been eleven.

After a few moments, it was the head chef who whispered loudly;
"There are two who do not belong, and making it worse, their addition makes the council number thirteen: the forbidden number."

More whispers followed this statement, but the council members feared to say anything, lest in being the first to speak, they put either a target on themselves for the usurpers or cast doubt on themselves for the pending vote.

The castle's servants, no longer feeling the magical pull that led them to the council room, began leaving slowly, milling around, trying to consolidate rumors and combine theories, before returning to their duties.

When it was just the 13 supposed council members staring at each other nervously as a cold wind blew around the hems their robes, the Regal Guard entered the throne room and motioned for them to all be seated.

Without warning, a deep voice resounded from somewhere in the middle of the gathered guards:
"We were expecting there to be twelve of you, the council, the king, the guard members, and the demon. But we also know that the killer known as Rogue escaped the dungeons and was trapped here by our magic."

"You were expecting the demon?" A voice called out. Luckily, all eyes were on the Regal Guard and the shouter went unnoticed and managed not to blush as everyone searched for the culprit.

"The demon and his conjurers wish to take over the kingdom, what better way to do that than systematically remove the governing body of Leoria? They will still have to face the Regal Guard, but without the king, our power will be lessened. If King Zaden and Knight Jamisson die there is little hope for Leoria, if all the council dies, there is none. Remember this as you vote. Do not do so carelessly and without reason. There are nearly a million lives resting on each vote you cast. Take not this task lightly. You have been warned."

More silence.

"You may begin your deliberations, council"

With that, the Regal Guard filed out the room, and the doors closed ominously behind them, leaving the council, and the usurpers looking 'round the room and each other, wondering who would be the first to  speak.

Started watching The League, and I love it so far.

I will be choosing roles by pulling players names out of a bowl or whatever is closest to me Sunday night, and to assign abilities I will be pulling the ability names out of the same object. However, Whirlwind will be an assigned ability because I just think it will make things more interesting, and I thought I should be upfront about this. Items will be randomly chosen on the first day, but then will be available as two separate groups on alternating days. If both Green Potions and the Processed Foods meal get used up, I will add two more items, but only if BOTH are gone.

Rules and other important things now posted in mafia forum, and I made two changes in this thread:

The first is concerning Globin Demon's poison ability; the second 1 of the Fibonacci sequence will be skipped to make things more interesting.

The second is concerning Kaine, who's Dark Light ability will not be able to reveal the identity of King Zaden.

The Rules Of The Game

What is the purpose of the game?

If you are on the townie side, you want to vote out all those on the mafia side and the killer.

If you are on the mafia side, you want to vote out all those on the townie side and the killer.

If you are the killer, you want to vote out all other players.

How do I vote? What is involved?

Each day all players are allowed to vote for whomever they believe is mafia.  Since all roles remain anonymous, mafia members will vote along with the townies.

Each day a new thread will be made and will open up with a narrative.  Each player then has the chance to vote off another player.  Simply type inBOLD for whom ever you wish to vote against. Example: Vote Maryjane. Although, that's a bad example. You'd never want to actually vote for me.J

You may change your vote as much as you like, but any old votes must remain legible.  Simply edit the post, unbold the vote, and make a new post with the new vote. So, you're old vote should look something like this: un-Vote Khushrenada. That is a much better example of how to play the game.A vote out is worth 10 damage +the number of votes cast against.

 What is a mafia hit?

Since the mafia is a small group of players, the mafia are able to make one hit every night and eliminate a player from the game. These are not based on calendar numbers, but rather on game days.  The only one who may contact the host with the kill is the current leader of the Usurpers.

In addition, the Killer also is able to make a hit each night of their own choosing.

  How is a winner determined?

For the townies to win, they need to eliminate all mafia members and the killer from the game.

For the mafia to win, they only need to tie the game. I.E., there are two townies left and two mafia members left. However, they must also eliminate the killer role as well. They cannot win by a tie if one of the other roles is the killer.

The killer wins either by eliminating all other players so that they are the only player left in the game or it is the killer and 1 townie left standing at the end. The killer must eliminate all mafia members.

What happens if the vote is a tie?

In the event of a tied vote, there will be an overtime, sudden death voting period of 30 minutes.  The only vote that may be cast is for one of the players who were tied at the end of voting.

As soon as a vote is cast that breaks the tie, the day vote is immediately ended and the player with the majority is eliminated regardless of how much time is left in the sudden death period. The vote that is cast can either be from a player that hasn't voted yet that day or from a player changing his vote from earlier in the day.

If the tie is unresolved after 30 minutes, then the vote is nullified and both players will live to see another day.

Unlike Khushrenada’s game, I do not have a failsafe planned if people start publicly revealing their abilities, therefore I must make it against the rules to do so. Neither can you reveal how much hp you have. You are allowed to publicly say that you’re losing health or things of that nature, however. In private messages, it’s all fair game, but publicly, let’s keep things a mystery. There’s the potential that King Zaden will be revealed to everyone, but that’s the nature of this game.

What is the .5 damage effect?

The .5 damage effect will only be used in the case of repeat attacks for a single attack. For example, if you have 10hp and get hit for 2.5 by Jamisson’s Sword of Beauty, you will have 8hp, but if you get hit by the sword again, you will only have 5hp. If you have 10hp and get hit by Jamisso’s Sword of beauty, you will have 8hp, but if you then get hit by a Magic Dagger, you be at 7hp. I’ve devised a very simple method of keeping track of all of this, so it will be easy to keep things straight.

Item Rules

Items will be selected by those casters who successfully vote someone out, ala Mafia LIV, but on a first come first serve basis. There are only two items that can cure poison, but Conflagration is healed by any item, and .5 damages will also be removed by any item. There will also be two magic enhancement items, and one item of a damaging effect. As well as filling health, hp replenishing items will also add health to those who aren’t down any. In addition, usurpers can give their health items to either Globin Demon or Gero, and any items received by the two regal guard knights automatically go to King Zaden unless the guards have received damage. If King Zaden is exposed, any of the council (townies) may give him their items.

Abilities

 Fire Whip
– Does 2 damage on the first attack, but any repeat attacks will result in 2.5 damage.

Whirlwind – Does 1 damage but will also steal the victim's ability and give them whirlwind as their power. Using this ability on someone with a role will replace their ability with whirlwind until they use it, but they neither get to steal the next users ability, nor does the one who used it against them get the role player’s ability, they will instead get an unused ability.

Magic Dagger - This gives 3 throwing blades worth 1.5 damage point each. The player can choose to target one player with them or spread out the damage. He can throw all 3 each day.

Hail - This player can cast 2 hail balls worth 2 damage points each. He can choose to target one player with them or spread out the damage. He can throw both of them each day.

Wild Magic- Uncontrollable spell that is worth 1-5 damage points against any player of the user's choosing. Every day, the damage amount will be randomly chosen , and if it’s 5 the caster will also receive 2 damage.

Ice - This spell allows the user 2 damage points against any player of their choosing each day. In addition, that chosen player's vote is nullified and not counted at the end of the vote tally.

Melee - This allows the user 2 damage points against any player of their choosing each day. In addition, they are so stunned from the beating, they cannot use their ability that day.

Stone - This ability protects the user's hit points from any other player's ability attack against him Except whirlwind. The user can also cast a stone to do .5 damage a day.

 Malicious Potion
- If used every day, it is worth 1 damage point against the user's chosen victim. But if the user decides to keep brewing, the damage will increase every day by the Fibonacci sequence. So, 1,2,3,5,8,13… You get the idea. Once the user has attacked somebody, the counter will start up again the next day. Yes, I did skip over the second 1 in the Fibonacci sequence, but I figure it’ll make things more interesting.

Mirror - The user can target any player of their choosing and give them a damage of 1 to their hit points every day. The real benefit from the mirror ability comes from the fact that anyone who uses an ability on this player ends up taking the same amount of damage themselves. The mirror users will only suffer half the damage themselves. Neither Globin Demon’s poison ability nor Malicious Potion are affected by Mirror.

Needle - Same as the Mirror ability except any attacker on the needle user suffers an automatic 4 points of damage themselves. Needle user still suffers the damage given them by the attack. Can shoot their needles for 2.5 damage, but will lose the ability to damage an attacker. Will not protect from poison or potion.

Tornado - This user is able to direct any attack against himself to another player of his choosing. He, in effect, sidesteps the attack and puts someone else in his place. The stress of this spell only allows it to be used every other day, and is useless against Globin Demon’s poison.

Weakening - This spell halves the damage of one players ability for the day. It can also halve another player’s ability on the same day, but the user then suffers .5 damage which can be applied to any other .5 damage they receive.

Ultima - This ability is worth 4.5 damage points and can be used each day but will be used consecutively against the same player until the target is dead.

Grey Mist - This spell nullifies everyone else's abilities for the day. It does not prevent hits from occuring or stop voting but no other actions will occur that day. It can only be used once every three days, but in the interim it will randomly identify a player, except Globin Demon and King Zaden.

Confusion - This giant explosion changes every vote case that day except for the user of this ability. A player will be chosen at random to take his place. It is a one-use only ability.

Sleep – Spell puts one player to sleep, and nullifies their vote and all actions.

Gooey – Spell shares damage received with another player. Target of spell is chosen by player, but that player is then forever linked to your damage.

Items

Mushroom
– Heals 2hp and can cure poison.

Seven Leaf – Heals 3hp and can cure poison.

Red Potion – Heals 2hp.

Green Potion – Adds 1.5 damage to ability and will repeat the .5 damage on a repeat attack of the ability it is used with. This works even for non-damaging abilities and will give 2 additional damage to their partner, if ingested by the person with Gooey. There are only two green potions in the castle.

Dragon’s Heartstring – Adds 3 damage to an ability attack.

Stale Water – Only removes conflagration and .5 damage effects.

Pomegranate Seeds – Heals 1hp.

Double-Edged Elixir – Heals for 2hp but will also randomly heal one of your enemies for 2hp.

Blessed Gruel – Heals 2hp and will protect against the first .5 damage received, but will not remove any previous .5 damages.

Processed Foods – Does 2.5 damage to hp, and the .5 damage will apply to any previous or future attacks. Only one of these corrupt meals exists in the castle.

Everyday only 5 of these 10 items will be up for grabs; they will be chosen at random.

Ok, I got mod powers to do the game, and it will start Monday, the 7th of November. This weekend will be your last chance to sign up!

Okay, we have 11 players so far, 3 - 5 more would be optimal. I guess I'll send out some PMs to entice some more people tomorrow, and I still need mod powers for the mafia section.

speaking of overlooked disney movies

Anyone get a Brave Little Toaster vibe from watching Toy Story 3? When watching Toy Story 3 I had almost felt id seen the movie before, then I was like Brave little Toaster, turns out one of the writers is the same.

That feeling of familiarity you got from watching Toy Story 3 was most likely from having seen Toy Story 1 and 2.

Yeah... not trying to be political. And I'm trying not to be high.

44
I was hoping to start the game this Monday but a few more people signing up would be better, and I still haven't heard back from Megabyte on mod powers to host the game, so we'll shoot for Halloween.

And no, Crimm. I would do it, but in order to do it right, you would have to know who everyone one was and when they were going to vote for you, allowing you to go back in time and alter their perception of you so that they vote with you instead of against you. So you see, if I let you do all that you would win without contest, and that wouldn't be fair.

Maryjane....real question, how high were you when you saw that movie? Cuz I said the same thing about Shrek 2. It's a good movie, a great movie even, but I was a bit over enthusiastic with my review of it.

Lol I actually ran out of stuff during the beginning of the movie.

It is a bad name, but it's a great movie. I actually think it should be worthy of awards, maybe it was just me, but I felt it when they were losing people and also felt their desperation in certain scenes. It was great cinematography, great writing, good acting, and amazing execution. What more do you want from a movie? I guess a good title...

Battle: Los Angeles 9/10

I went into this movie expecting an action movie with a little suspense, but this movie seriously had it all. It was funny, emotional, inspiring, and real. There were only two scenes in the entire movie that I didn't like, and one overarching story (of the staff sgt.) that I thought could've and should've been dealt with earlier in the movie, but even that was well done when it was settled. This was just an overall excellent movie.

48
I just realized that I didn't put in the story why the Globin Demon will be affected by the vote, but I'll rectify that on day one. I also realized that Globin looks a lot like Goblin, but I took the name from hemoglobin, as in blood.

Six signups on the first day! I think 14 or 15 will be the optimal number, but more would definitely be welcome. :)

Edit: Oh, and I need mod powers in the Mafia Game section so I can post the rules and stuff.

49
Hey, if you do I'll definitely use it. I could certainly use artwork to spruce things up a bit, and I'm glad you like the story.

The rules are going to have to wait until tomorrow afternoon I just started drinking which means long night and late morning. The rules will be mostly the same as Khush's game with a few tweaks to match the roles. I'll also explain the .5 damage more.

Hi everyone, and welcome to the first mafia game I have ever hosted. I will be leaning heavily on the set up of the excellent Mafia LIV composed by Khushrenada, but adding a different story, and here it is:

King Zaden and his wise council sat at the heavy wooden oak table from which all their meetings were conducted, staring wearily at the body laying cold before them. A heavy black cloak protected the sacred table from the blood and pus that continued to seep from the body's orifices, but otherwise the woman was naked before them.

"It is the third body this week, sire." One of the council said. Zaden, distracted by the sight before him and its implications did not take notice of who spoke. It was the third body found killed in this disturbing manner, but other bodies had been found as well. Likely by whatever evil was summoned by the murderers.

"And they all bear the markings of sacrifice and poison." Another councilman unnecessarily reminded the king.

"This is the work of a usurper, sire. Who else would be so bold as to murder three citizens of Leoria and leave them before the palace gates? Surely it is someone wishing to deliver you a violent message."

"If it is a usurper, he will not be alone."

"We must strengthen the defenses! Seal the gates with spells that will not let a fly through, and begin an inquisition immediately!"

"If we seal the gates, we seal in the killers as well! We will be trapped with them."

"Aye, and they will be trapped with us."

"But who is it?"

"Someone learned."

"Someone evil."

"Someone powerful."

"Aye, powerful enough to sacrifice and summon."

"We must look for people powerful enough to sacrifice and summon."

"But gentlemen," the king finally spoke up, though never taking his eyes from the body "I have the most powerful and wise mages in Leoria serving on this council."

"The traitors are among us!" Most of them cried together. Those who were silent went unnoticed under the weight of the accusation.

Glances of suspicion circled around the table like waves of heat from a furnace. Those glances soon turned to the mutterings of spell inceptions and the air became palpable with intent and fear.

"Council!" Zaden roared. He finally took his eyes off the body and looked each of his councilors in the eyes. "The traitors are among us, as I have feared since the first death." The murmurs of dissent and disbelief were quickly quieted by Zaden's furious stare. "As we sit here in council, the castle's gates and windows have been sealed with spells of the ancients. From today forward, this council will meet daily, and we will weed out the usurpers and whatever foul creation they have summoned. We will not rest until..."

"Sire!" A page came bursting through the doors out of breath but determined to deliver his message. "Two more bodies have been found!"

"Did they look like this boy?" A councilman yelled pointing at the dripping body.

For a moment the boy's eyes focused only on the swollen breasts of the victim, but eventually his eyes saw the sickly secretions and he turned away.

"No," the page answered fighting to keep his breakfast down. "One body was drained of all its blood, and the other had its throat slit."

"There are three killers!"

"We face the power of three."

"No!" Zaden interjected. "But yes, as well." He sighed heavily and resumed his seat. The council followed his lead and the page saw himself out resisting the temptation to look at the only naked female body he had ever seen.

"I fear that we will no longer find any bodies in this state," the king said pointing at the body on the table. "The three sacrifices have raised a Globin Demon."

"A blood-sucker? But who would dare unleash something so..."

The cold stares on the councilor stopped his speech and urged him to hurriedly apologize to the king.

"As I was saying, they have raised the demon. They used the power of three to make three sacrifices, but now they have their demon to do their killing that they may keep their hands clean. If they mean to take my kingdom, I am their obvious target, so I have taken steps to confuse them."

As he pointed towards the door, a golden spark flew from Zaden's fingertip and hit the door with a resounding thud that shook the walls. At the king's signal, his Regal Guard came silently into the room, their black cloaks and hoods disguising their figures and their faces. They were not the most powerful of mages; they could not create fire walls, or ice rings, but what they could do was protect the king. Their magic was honed to a sharpness that had one purpose: protect the king no matter what the cost, and by any means. It would be these men standing guard throughout the castle to make sure no one escaped the trial, and it would also be them who executed the king's justice against the usurpers.

"Council, in a moment the Regal Guard will cast spell upon us all that will change our names and appearances, and it will be through these disguises that I will be made safe against our enemies. And it is through these disguises we must discover who among us is a traitor. As we are now, we have all sworn the same allegiance to Leoria, and you have all sworn the same allegiance to me. In disguise, we are new people whose true intentions will show through our deeds in this council room. BEGIN!"

At once the twelve Regal Guard men began an incantation that caused the council room to grow dark within a greenish hue of enchantment. The green hue swam through the air at the Regal Guard's persuasion, touching each council member and changing their features one by one. A change of nose here, and a moving of a mole there. The storm settled and each council member found themselves sprawled on the floor amongst the Regal Guard, one of whom spoke to them all.

"The guest rooms surrounding the courtyard have been prepared for all of you. The king instructs you all to make yourselves comfortable, and familiar with each other and the rules of the coming council meetings. When one of you is labeled traitor, my ax will pass judgment. Do not forget the murderer who slit the stable boys throat this morning, he is among us somewhere as well"

With that, the Regal Guard left, leaving the king and council members alone with each other and their suspicions.

Okay, so roles:

Mafia (usurpers):

Globin Demon: Bloodsucking demon who feeds on the blood of one person a night in order to be sated. Along with his thirst for blood, he also poisons those he feels threatened by. Poison will damage for 1, and then follow the Fibonacci Sequence for damage everyday; 1,2,3,5,8, etc. After being summoned by the usurpers he is now their leader. He still feels a pull to do their will, and that is the only reason he hasn't devoured them.

Gero: Leader of the usurpers before the demon summoning. Wants to replace the king and has submitted himself to the forces of evil to do so. In joining evil he has gained the ability of Night Shade, which not only does a damage of 3, but also blocks the ability of the affected person for the day.

Stanos: Fire mage whose dealings with evil allow him to use the spell Conflagration which does 2 damage, but does 3 on a repeat attack, then 4, etc. Conflagration can be cured with certain items, which would return damage on that person to 2.

Kaine: Evil apprentice whose Dark Light attack also identifies its victim while doing 2 damage. Cannot identify King Zaden.

Power of three: As long as the three mages of the mafia remain alive, any attack on them will be halved. They can still be identified, but they are protected from half of all damage except from the vote.

Killer
Rogue: Escaped prisoner unwilling trapped in the castle trying to escape. He has disguised himself as a servant and roams the halls of the castle killing everyone in his continued attempt to escape the castle and his fate of execution by the Regal Guard.

Townies (council)
King Zaden III: King of Leoria, Defender of Justice, and Leader of the People. Tired of being brought the bodies of his people, he decided to seal himself in his castle with the evil that threatens his land. Rising to the position of King by being the most powerful mage, Zaden can attack with his Light Sword for a justice wielding 4 damage which also grants identification.

Regal Guard Knight Jamisson: Leader of the Regal Guard, and ultimate executioner. His skill with magic swords is rivaled only by the king. His Sword of Beauty slashes for 2.5 damage (with the .5 only mattering for a successive attack). If he dies, his squire or the king will carry out the nightly executions. Along with his prowess with the sword, as a member of the Regal Guard, Jamisson can also sacrifice himself for the king in any situation if he has identified the king, or the king has identified him. Basically if Zaden is targeted by an ability, the vote, or the mafia hit and knows who one of his guards are, they can take the damage for him. Of course, doing this will reveal who he is to everyone, including the mafia, but also:

Regal Guard Squire Artois: Squire to Knight Jamisson and fast learner. He fights with the curved Arakh swords of the Dothraki (Game of Thrones reference) and can slice for 2 damage, but only 1.5 on repeat attacks to the same person. As a member of the Regal Guard, he can also sacrifice himself for the king, but being sacrificed for a ability attack will result in his immediate death regardless of health.

Council Members: True and able servants to King Zaden. Powerful mages whose abilities vary by temperament and teaching. They are unknown to each other, but have powers that will allow them to attack and remember familiarities with loyal council members.

That's all I have for now, I'll do the rules, items, and other stuff later today or early tomorrow morning. Sign up!! If we can get 20 people again that would be great.
