I think the fact you watched LOST is enough of a reason to shake one's head. Called BS on that show inside of two episodes.

I am about half way through Superman the animated series. It is overall better than Batman TAS, but alot of it is due to the fact STAS didn't have to learn the ropes like Batman did, making Batman more inconsistant. BTAS turning out the way it did is a miracle considering how god awful most 80's cartoons were coming into the early 90's. Serious drama in a cartoon? That's crazy talk. It was so different to everything else at the time they to go learn from the Japanese.

Of course STAS had Dana Delany who even when I watched it originally, sounds sublime as she does now.

Lost is not a good show. Seriously, if a show can not hook me by the end of the first season then I am not gonna waste any more time with it. I got about 8 episodes in and the show was not getting any better, I could not care less about the characters or if they lived, and the writers seemed to care more about making a needlessly complex at the expense of making it entertaining.

Watching (and hating) Lost is a great example of why you should just give up and watch Fringe instead.

Better acting, better writing, better story and better chemistry.

I love Fringe, MUCH better and one of the only good things JJ Abrams has done.

Almost Human (from the same guy who oversaw Fringe) looks to be as good too.

But that seems to be more of a JH Wyman thing, because Person of Interest is great too, as opposed to JJ Abrams.

LOST is a horrible show overall, but it did have some nice moments.

It's a victim of showrunners not having a consistent vision for how the story will go further so they just make it up as they go along and make it more and more retarded in the process, sometimes even completely contradicting themselves by the end. Same was with BSG.

This kinda of drecks really makes me appreciate shows like Avatar: The Last Airbender or mini-series like Lost Room. Creators knew what they wanted to do from the get go and never strayed away from that.

I was always repeating that S:TAS is better than BTAS but noone believes me. STAS is even my favourite show in entire DCAU (because horrible season 1 of JL soured me on it's later seasons even though i can appreciate how much big of a jump in quality they made after that).

My favourite episodes in STAS are: World's Finest, Mxyzpixilated, Brave New Metropolis, Knight Time, and of course Late Mr. Kent (my favourite episode in any superhero show, DAT ending).

LOST and Heroes are shows that I loved the first season, and lost (heh) their potential after that. Fringe is so much better than LOST it's not even funny.

Avatar: the Last Airbender is a good example of a show where they got to tell their tale and end it. Which makes me slightly wary of Korra (though unlike most fans, I'm optimistic of the creators).

Speaking of Korra, the release date of the new season got announced today: September 13th at 7 EST, a Friday.

First season of Justice League horrible? LOL, I think you have bad tastes. It is the worst of the 4 seasons, but still pretty good. As for STAS vs. BTAS, overall BTAS is superior IMO.

Oh man I hated Lost, I got into it for a couple episodes then bam my mom and sisters became obsessed with it so no matter whose house I went to it was always on. They have watched the show five times through each and it just boggles my mind. It must have some appeal to women or something that I don't see.

The only TV show I am into right now is the Big Bang Theory, which I am barely staying into since this last season really was a dull one. I was into How I Met Your Mother but that show has become a chore to watch so I gave up on it.

I would rate lost a sucky 2 out of 5, nothing really worth mentioning that isn't well known.

Big Bang seasons 1-3 I rate a 5/5 4-6 I rate 3.5/5, last season, I think it was 6 or 7, a 2.5/5 at this point if I keep watching it will because there is nothing else on.

I stopped watching HIMYM and I won't go back till the finale.

I did get into this show called Lost Girl on Netflix but it was only good for three episodes then it suddenly dropped in quality and I stopped watching. I am waiting for the last seas of Doctor Who to come to Netflix to get caught up on that but I am losing interest in that show since Amy left as I don't care for this new doctor as much.

Ha ha. Not to start up another BBT war since I'm faily sure the last post was in jest but to counter it, he did say:

Even a fan of the show is admitting it isn't that good. At least currently.

I wish I wouldn't had watched the last 2 or so seasons.  They had their moments but the show is away from its prime.  Plus the Mom I hate to say is a serious let down unless they suddenly switched it next season.

"Somebody" failed reading comprehension again...

HIMYM is seriously pissing me off now and I too wish it to end. It use to be pretty funny, but it has far outran it's premise and material. It doesn't help that Josh's character Ted is easily the biggest lamest douche on TV ever created. I wish him death every episode. I hate him more than actual villians.

Theirs just only so long you can play that sort of character before that becomes the feeling.  All the archetype have given all they have to give.  The Mom should have been met 2 seasons ago and these last 2 seasons should have been courting plus the other stuff they been doing.

I really hate what has become of HIMYM, it was such a great show at first, then it tried to be a Friends knock off and that is when it started to slip I think. I also grew to hate Ted.

The show is incredibly offensive sure but what mainstream sitcom isn't offensive to someone? Controversy is what makes good comedy.

I have yelled at the TV on more than one occasion for that very thing, especially their constant contradictions as well as complete lack of understanding the rift between Star Wars and Star Trek fans.

But nerds and geeks are not the same, geeks are just wanna be nerds who just don't get it.
I still like the show despite how offensive it is because it is still funny and like most real nerds, I can relate to it on so many levels. Stereotypes are okay for comedy because that is what makes it comedy, you think Roseanne is a true and accurate portrayal of lower class suburban American life? Bullshit it is pure hollywood stereotyping at its worst and yet it still related to those same folks it offended. If someone is so offended by a comedy that can't take a joke then that person has a problem.

Why I like the show personally is for all the negative stereotyping it does it still portrays the characters as real people who are aware of their shortcomings, instead of in the old days like Screech or Urkel where they were deliberately trying to be offensive.

if you don't care for peter capaldi then heres what you should do

Netflix, Torchwood -> go right to season 3(first two are mostly crud and inconsequential) -> hit play, pay attention to John Frobisher.

I meant Matt Smith, I haven't seen the newest Doctor. I loved all three seasons of Torchwood, the Starz one doesn't count though that was a mess. My favorite Doctor so far has been Eccleston followed by David Tennant, I don't care for Matt Smith at all.

Watching the latter seasons of that show make me think the writers themselves wanted it to end. They wrote themselves into corners with a couple chicks, only to have them not be her. The on again off again with Robin was infuriating. NPH and Forgetting Sarah Marshall kept me watching that show.

Wow Seriously?  Torchwood went down hill from the first season.  It started strong got week.  Matt Smith was a good Doctor.  David Tennant as well.  Eccleston was junk.  Easily my least favorite Doctor.  Though I have a feeling that you both have a short history with Dr.Who.
