Also, all the proposal would do is increase the penalty for something ALREADY illegal. Streaming copyrighted content without permission is already illegal, this proposal would just increase the punishment. So why the outrage? Or are you trying to create controversy where there is none (something a certain political party loves to do).

I love Fringe, MUCH better and one of the only good things JJ Abrams has done.

D'oh. I screwed up. Still, my point was that it takes less than 30 seconds to find any strategy guide.

Lost is not a good show. Seriously, if a show can not hook me by the end of the first season then I am not gonna waste any more time with it. I got about 8 episodes in and the show was not getting any better, I could not care less about the characters or if they lived, and the writers seemed to care more about making a needlessly complex at the expense of making it entertaining.

Still looks better than the Luigi 3DS.

Anyone have the items that were distributed through Best Buy?

He is the one who said it would be better, mainly because at that distance the tube just becomes prohibitively expensive.

Cross country is relative. He says that for distances greater than 1000 miles that it would be better to take a plane instead of using this. And it might take longer for it to even happen since he says he is too busy to actually design it himself.

lolmonade, to be fair the HD iPad versions are $3.99 (or $2.99, I forget which). Still, $50 is too much. $20 I could see being fair based on 3 of them plus some of the DLC and leaderboards.

It also requires very specific models of routers, which mine is not included. Apparently you can use your Android phone as an alternative, so I may look into that.

My main problem with the DualShock is the Playskool design of shapes for the buttons. But I also just like how the Xbox 360 controller feels. I honestly love how the Xbox 360 controller feels. Way Betty than any Sony controller ever did.

38
The PlayStation 3 never convinced me to buy games for it, so at least for me the PlayStation 4 has failed to convince me to get it. I loved the Xbox 360, and Microsoft saying Kinect won't be required has eliminated the final thing about Xbox One that made me not want to get it. I had no objection to the idea of Kinect, I just never used it because I never had room for it.

39
They said it won't be required, but it will still be included so you can still use it. Best of both worlds.

The DualShock 4 still has the same basic design the DualShock always has, which is NOT a good thing. Sony is determined to never have a good controller it seems.

40
You cant read, can you? The Xbox One doesnt require Kinect. Also, the games shown are the same. And almost all third party games will be the same. So same games, and the Xbox One has a superior controller.

41
At this point I cant see why someone would buy the PlayStation 4 instead of the Xbox One unless $100 upfront is that big of a deal.

I didn't get anything when I went to McDonalds for dinner a few days ago and got nothing. Maybe I was the first one there, but still.

I don't have a problem with Apple products. I love my iPad and loved my iPod Touch (before it was stolen). I just think they are seriously ovepriced.

Some might call it the price of ever slimming computers, but it is a bit of a let down to not have the option to upgrade your computer.

It's the price of buying an overpriced computer that costs hundreds of dollars more than a Windows computer with the same specs (and more games).

From what i'm reading in reviews, Pikmin 3 is EASILY worth $60.

BTW Chilenozo, they did NOT get rid of any Pikmin types. Purple and White may not be in the story mode, but they are in the Mission mode.

I followed the info in this Reddit topic. You can check your router's compatibility with one of the firmware methods at this list.

Only 1 Dynex router is supported? Ugh. And it's not even the one I have. I'm not buying a new router just to get extra StreetPasses.

Phil, I don't have many Classic items but I have:

Classic Buffet
Classic Carpet
Classic Chair
Classic Clock

General Chat / Re: Which laptop would you recommend?
« on: August 11, 2013, 04:30:07 PM »
Just for the next 3 or 4 years, I don't need it to be state of the art for 6 years. My current laptop is about 3 years old and it more than does the trick for what I need, but I would maybe like a bit better laptop now.

Bump since I am thinking of getting a new laptop. It wouldn't really be for gaming since I don't do much PC gaming. But it would be nice to have the option. Ideally I would like a touchscreen. I don't want to buy another one for at least 3-4 years, so some future-proofing (RAM, HDD size, etc.) would be very helpful. Price-range would ideally be around $500 or less. Any recommendations?
