Well, he is presumably talking about everything from Canada down to Chile or whatever the heck country is at the bottom of South America (Google image search - hey, I was right!)  But the point about Reggie's advert-speak from this year's press conference is well-taken.
That's my opinion, not yours.

The New World
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

How did you get it on the page with the date stamp? I can always only get the new comics index page and so it changes which is why I direct linked. I'll change it now.

Go to the news post and then click the comic strip icon at the bottom of the page.

Lol yeah it cracked me up too Ian.

Gotta love their main page too, here is a snippet:

The developer walkthrough for the game is something I consider must see. Gabriel is tentatively anti-bee, but are bees better - quantitatively speaking - than raccoons? Than frogs? These mysteries run deep. But he's over at his desk singing Madonna's hit Vogue, which negates his opinion on this and other matters. It may negate him as a human being.

People who are talking about the Americas generally say the Americas. It'd be funny if there was something odd about saying that. But there isn't. PA teh suxors.

Penny Arcade is almost never funny anymore. It's getting to the point where drying paint is more entertaining than their comics.
