Heck, I'm a rightie and I can't FUNCTION with dual analog setups because aiming with my right thumb on an analog stick is IMPOSSIBLE. I use my left thumb for all my advanced and subtle analog action. My right thumb is purely boolean.

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

Honestly, with the advent of Wii and DS there has never been a better time to be left handed. You have full control in deciding which hand to use. It's not like you could turn a controller upsidown just to press buttons in your left hand with a regular controller.

Same with me, I hate games that use a right control stick because i just go all over the place when using it.

Why didn't Nintendo make GameCube controllers where the main control stick is on the right side!

They are screwing left handed people!

probably because the mass majority is right handed and because Ned Flanders' The Leftorium couldn't get a deal with Nintendo.

He also said that small children would probably use the remote in their left hand and the stick in the right, so I don't think so. He really believes the stick requires more precision than the remote, that controlling "righty Link" is more of a left handed control than a right handed one.

Aiming with the wrong hand is painful, but doable, and thats why many lefties have given up to the standard right mouse (and you are missing how great it is to use it on the correct hand), but lets say they make an okami-like game where you have to draw characters on the screen, something like Black and White, now that would be a nightmare to do with your non dominant hand.

what you dont realise is that a lefty named Miyamoto forced the world of righty's to play games left handed

before the nes controller there were big fat joysticks and they were played with either hand.

I have an update on Tiger Woods, if anyone cares. Yes, you set your handedness when you create a character. The sucky part: once you click through it you never see it again. The even sucky part: EA set the 'A' button as the continue button. So as a knee jerk reaction, I click 'A' to change an option instead of holding 'B' to drag the correct option into position. I missed my opportunity. But no worries since I didn't use my first character too much. My current character has the name of 'You Suck', cause thats what I was thinking of the game at that moment.

It actually can be enjoyable, with the settings on 'easy'. But its still a rental unless you absolutely love golf.

Not this debate again. The funny thing is this. All of the right handed people are telling lefties, it doesn't matter. Its not 1:1, just switch hands. The switch has no bearing on the on screen action. I just wanted to let you all know, you have made an excellent argument for why the game shouldn't have been mirrored in the first place.

Thanks for that bit of advice.  I'll take that into consideration next time I'm advising Miyamoto and/or Aonuma on how they should make games.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!
