Nintendo Gaming / RE:Eternal Darkness 2 Marketing Tactic: Reasons

Well, SK becoming 1st party does make some sense, as Nintendo recently announced the creation of an aquisition/merger found some time ago:

The article speculates it's about hardware technologies, but it could be about game development too.

Hey there, I just found out about this topic so I'll sing the song you all wanna hear:
I'm kinda new here, in the posting department, even though I've been reading for a long time.

So I guess I'll try to check in a couple times a week (at least )
Also, as an official newbie here, I'll try to keep the drama at a level at least on par with the OC, or the WWE, I know I can do this !

You saw THAT Bill, seriously?
Everyone, including you were just posting emoticon after emoticon, and some silly comments about Zelda and Ganon.

Well, you sure got me on that one, I was just so psyched about that...
meh.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Silicon Knights and Nintendo break up

I found another interesting piece there: http://jincman.typepad.com/sfp/2004/02/denis_dyack_int.html
It's supposed to be from EGM, but the site doesn't work right now so I can't confirm.

Anyways, Mr.Dyack clearly implies that there is no difference whatsoever between Silicon Knights and Nintendo, as he's refering to Nintendo as "we". I think that's pretty self explanatory...
Please note that this interview only dates back to a couple months ago.

Now, let's be pessimistic, and assume that it was done three, heck, four months ago. What could possibly happen in four months of business as usual, that led SK to pull a 180 and turn away (pun intended) from Nintendo? Let's not forget that the report from IGN came out of nowhere, without any warning of internal rumblings from anyone. The more I read, the less I believe in this break up.

A bunch of you claim they read the old interviews with Mr. Dyack, yet, no one did mention this one over at Gamespy: http://archive.gamespy.com/interviews/july03/dyack/index4.shtml
The most interesting part is on page 4, near the end. I particularly like the "No, never. Ever." part.
I also find it disturbing that the only comments about this story are comming from Mr. Dyack, a.k.a. "The MindScrewer". He always does find a way of getting around things with words...
Well, I guess that means I'm with the crazy ones...
