Kimi no Tame Nara Shineru - "I Could Die For You."

Famitsu has published some news and images of a new Sega game for the DS, named Kimi no Tame Nara Shineru (or, "I Could Die For You").

It's a mystery-oriented game starring a silhouetted woman. Apparently, there will be little to no dialogue and little use of the control pad. The focus will be using the touch pad to explore the game and change the appearance of your own character. Further details are forthcoming!

YES! A wacky Japanese game that will likely never be released here!  I'm so glad Sega is working on this instead of something good!

this should sell decently in japan where the industry is hurting bad... and it's nice to see a different type of game from the mainstream.

Perhaps if the art design is good, and overseas press give it good previews we could see this game over here.

I wouldn't mind playing a descent mystery game.  Point and click would allow it to be like those old PC games.  Find items, and clues to solve the puzzles and eventually the mystery.

If its got a good story and is fun to play why not?

In one scene, you can use the sytlus to caress the woman's breast with a deadly scorpion.

Sega realizes that there's no point in flooding the new, innovative hardware with old, tired rehashes. I don't think you're going to see the run-off-the-mill sequels you want from Sega on the DS...
