Amazon is really the only place I shop for games on a regular basis. Outside of the occasional deals elsewhere Amazon really is the cheapest place for games. And convenient.

It got me to buy the physical version of Fire Emblem because the price was cheaper on Amazon than the eShop. And really, the only thing keeping me away from the eShop is prices. Who knows when Nintendo will decide to lower eShop prices on major retail releases. They may never do it. I'd almost be willing to drop an extra $5 just to get it 'a second time' digitally for certain games. Then I could keep finding them cheap on amazon and still end up less than the MSRP.

I would totally pay $5 for games that I bought before the eShop had them. Mario Kart, Mario Tennis, and Tetris Axis immediately come to mind.

Would be nice if you could 'attach' your games that you owned to the system via the cloud. Maybe give each physical game a unique physical code you can only use on the primary system connected to your Club Nintendo account that would allow you to d/l the game to the SD card. They already have the Club Nintendo code in every 1st party game. Just take the code and enter it in on the eShop and then Nintendo could verify that that system is your registered primary system on the Club Nintendo website and allow you to play the game without the card.

I did this deal this spring, well worth it. I think I will be getting W101, Pikmin 3, and Rayman this round.

The Targets around here are flaky when it comes to stocking games though.

I was thinking possibly Rayman Legends, but I'm not sure I'll play it and I'm pretty sure it's going to drop in price fairly quickly like Origins did. Pikmin 3 was going to be the random game I pick up then switch for The Wind Waker HD. Since the sale is only for Wii U games, I'm pretty limited in what's available that I want. There might even be an issue when I go to get The Wind Waker HD since Pikmin 3 is $60 and I believe The Wind Waker HD is $50, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Hmmm...I don't have 3 seconds to play my Wii U, but that's a pretty good deal. Maybe some games will be on sale as well ($50 instead of $60 or so). Only games I want (not dying to get) are Rayman Legends, Wind Waker HD and Pikmin 3, but I probably won't be able to get WW or P3 for another year or so...

Canada: For only one more day, you can pickup a 3DS XL, during WalMart's anniversary sale, for $149.99. Price match at Futureshop / Best Buy for another few bucks off. This is the best price you'll find for the system, even beating out bonus days at Shoppers.
