We should have a personal bio space in our profile where we can write a little about ourselves that can't be gleaned from avatars and signatures.

Well, I tried to add a Bio space, but it sucked. It only gives you one line that just keeps going rather than wrapping down into a paragraph. You can't use any HTML, and there are no codes to jump to the next line. Sorry, I did try, but it will take someone that knows what they're doing to rewrite it, and Rick is too busy nowadays. :-/

I don't know cold fusion, but I would be willing to write a script to do that if you can provide me with some details about how you have things set up. I develop things like this for a living, and I am sure I could get something working for you.

No, it's not just a cold fusion thing. The forums run on a program called FuseTalk, and all the modules and stuff are already set up. Rick has access to the program code I believe, so he can rewrite this thing to come up with stuff like the spoiler tag, but you'd have to have access to his modified version of the code to do anything new with it, and I don't.
