Gah.  I wanted to play as soon as I got home from work today, but when I booted up my PC, I couldn't connect to Steam.  Tried everything I could think of, rebooting, cycling my router, etc...  After about thirty minutes of frustration, I discovered the hard drive I installed Bioshock Infinite to was full...  Oops!  Cleared up some space and now I'm just waiting on the last few gigs of the game to finish downloading.

PS3 for the win? :P: I didn't even have to do the long 45 minute install that was present in the original game.

Got Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon on Sunday. I'm at the fifth mansion now. The third boss fight is my favorite so far, but the fourth is the most frustrating.

I'm really digging the controls on the PC.  And the graphics are just stunning.  I didn't like the gunplay that much in the first two games, but the gunplay here is much more satisfying.  I think a lot of that is because I'm playing Infinite on the PC whereas I played the first two on 360.

It was a fairly large download, however, at about 15 GB or so.

Possible Deal Alert: EB Games (Canada) has some very aggressive markdowns right now.  Just got back from an appointment, stopped in on the way home and picked up the following:

DS:
* Time Hollow - $2
* Metal Slug 7 (with bonus CD and poster) - $2
* Chibi-Robo Park Patrol - $3

Wii:
* AC/DC Live RockBand Track Pack (two copies) - $1 total
* Battalion Wars 2 - $1
* Excitebots: Trick Racing (used) - $1
* King of Fighers Collection - $1
* Kung Fu Panda Legendary Warriors - $3
* Madden NFL 08 - $1
* Mercury Meltdown Revolution - $1
* Mushroom Men The Spore Wars - $1
* Wario Land Shake It - $1

All games "new" unless stated otherwise.

Total damage: $19.07 after taxes

I know some of these aren't hot games, but most will fill holes in my collection or make gifts for my nephews. I do admit to buying a few primarily for extra Wii cases to replace damaged ones at home... but am still pretty happy at the moment.

Edit: Added prices.

Thanks, ejamer. I'll stop by my local near work today and see about snagging a bargain or two.
Park Patrol, eh? I still regret not buying that for $5 at and EB about 3 years ago.

Put those regrets away: it's $3 now if you can find a copy.  Take a peek at the EB Games website and sort by price before going - you might find some other titles that interest you.

Count me in for another $4.47.  "New" - or at least as new as you get from EB Games - copies of:

* Master of Illusion (DS)
* Pokemon Trozei! (DS)
* Tecmo Bowl Kickoff (DS)
* Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law (Wii)

Again, not amazing games... but ones that either I'm interested in or that my nephew will appreciate as a gift.  Considering the price, it's hard to go wrong.

I bought a bunch of stuff over the weekend. MLB The Show 13 and Gran Turismo 5 for PS3, plus a new third party PS3 controller that looks way more up my alley than the standard one, and Need For Speed for Wii U.

Indeed, I've been cruising the GameStop Used Games bin quite a bit recently myself, trying to stock-up on harder-to-find games I've either been meaning to reacquire to add to the permanent collection or always had an interest in but never tried.  As such...

Wii:
- Madworld (rebuy - guilty pleasure)
- Sakura Wars 5 (rebuy - never finished)
- Arc Rise Fantasia (always meant to see if it was really as bad as everyone said it was)
- Little King's Story (never really got into the Vita version. Meant to check out the Wii version eventually)

PS3:
- Asura's Wrath (rebuy - guilty pleasure)
- Devil May Cry 4 (now I'm setup to play all the original DMC games)
- Dragon Age 2 (yeah, I liked the game. So sue me.)
- No More Heroes PS3 (always meant to try that version)

360:
- Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie (always heard it was decent)
- Kameo: Elements of Power (ditto)
- Banjo-Kazzoie: Nuts & Bolts / Viva Pinata (2-packer. Always meant to try Banjo)
- various XBLA/Games-on-Demand games (Indigo Prophesy, Jade Empire, both Dishwasher Dead Samurais, Space Invaders Extreme, Skulls of the Shogan, Iron Brigade [aka "Trenched"])

Still on the lookout for a Gamestop in my area w/ a Boy and His Blob since $30 is more than I'm willing to pay to replay it. Will probably repurchase Punch-Out as well, which is easy to acquire since it got a reissue in the $20 line.

Got a good collection there. I forgot to mention that on top of that, I was able to pay off the remaining $17 off my preorder of Pandora's Tower.

"Free" as in traded games for credit? Were they "free" because you found a good flip? Somehow I doubt that GameStop was just giving games away... although the recent Canadian sale wasn't far off for some titles.

It's free because when I was done playing a game, I traded it in for credit and used that credit to get those games. Techinically I paid for it, but that value became free money once I traded it in.

It's free because when I wanted a game, I pirated it off the internet. Techinically I never paid for it, but i am able to play it anyways on my PSP 3000.
Fixed, just thought i'd put this in perspective with a previous quote...
I got a PSP 3000 a couple days ago to play every NES/SNES/GB/GBA/PS1 and PSP game ever made. :P
