Behold my awesome e3 idea!
« on: April 11, 2006, 06:16:15 AM »
Well, from reading the various posts on this board, it appears that just about everyone here except me will be physically attending e3 this year.

God, it sucks to be me.

On another note, here's my idea.  PGC should ship out hats (or something of the like) that e3-goers could wear during e3.  This would negate the need for arraging a "meet-up" time (which some have declined due to the fact it would waste precious e3 time) and allow PGC'ers the chance to actually know when they're passing someone from PGC because of the Hat ("Hey, you're from PGC!").

Also, it'd be neat if Jonny did some kind of contest like "If I see you at e3 wearing a PGC hat, I'll buy you a Pepsi (or a Coke, or a Sierra Mist, or Dinner, etc...)".  It'd be more of a reason to wear a PGC hat.

As for PGC, how great would it be if multiple developers/companies representing at e3 kept being questioned by completly different people all wearing the same hat advertising the same website?

Just a thought.

Or you could just wear our shirt. :P

A hat, though? I like hats. I'm not going to E3 this year, but I do like hats.

I do like hats...

We already have a fail-proof system for finding PGC readers.  We identify them by the frequency of their voice when they ask if they can have their picture taken with us.

And I don't like hats...

A hat, like...a baseball cap?  That would suck.

Maybe a sombrero would be better.

I have a idea, let that all the people here at the forums that want to go to e3 but can't put them in a steel cage and make them all fight to the death! to go to e3. Give them only swords/blades no guns to do it with and sell video of it to make money later. Of coures I would win j/k I really want to go to e3 year

Well, that helps *you* find PGC readers, but that doesn't help other PGC readers find PGC readers...

I suggested a hat because it was something that could be worn multiple days in a row without... issues.
