If it helps, I also have New Leaf digitally. :D

If it isn't obvious by the copious amount of physical stuff I have, I am a firm Physical > Digital camper.

I got two packs from Target the morning they opened.  A third from Amazon, a fourth from a co-worker who ordered me one from Amazon, two more from Nintendo's webstore.... then 20 more packs when I lucked into Target getting a restock.  Through a few trades and a couple of eBay purchases...

Mission complete.  Do you love me yet, Nintendo?

I'm still alive.

Tetris may actually become the best video game movie ever made.

I ran into this by accident Wikipedia leaping, but I remember reading David Sheff's Game Over and the chapters on Tetris were the most gripping chapters. The fact that the main character is Henk Rogers is perfect.

I own a personalized, autographed copy of that book.

Check out the Gaming Historian's piece on Tetris on Youtube.  It's an hour long, but worth it.

Is there any chance in heck that this gets a Switch port?

Have at it.  Post away!
What do you mean?

I'm giving you permission to post links to your site, advertise your game, etc., etc.

This is a fun piece of Nintendo-adjacent history and is more than welcome to be shared here.

Have at it.  Post away!

Yeah, Sylvie's goal in the moment was to distract the TVA long enough to break in and kill the Time Masters.  Which, kinda, she did.  She probably knew that the TVA would be able to somewhat easily fix it, but it'd literally take all their resources.

>I refuse to accept that this Loki had such a turn around in something like a week.

I think we're supposed to believe that this Loki watching Prime Loki's life play out, which included his role in the death of his mother and Ragnarok, combined with making a "real" connection to another (another?) person in Sylvie, he manag  change similar to how Prime Loki did.

Nope.  First one (in Loki)

If you go on the Marvel Studios subreddit, the mods always sticky a reply at the top of their spoiler topic that says if there's midcredits/end credits scenes without spoiling what they are.

Yeah.  And Tommy immediately went on the attack, threatening legal action.

I'd say I'm about to cash out my $100 preorder.

The two player mode alone accounts for about 50% of my total DS/3DS Playtime.

I've watched The Good Place's last episode three times and all three times I cried ugly tears.

My wife once described me as an emotionless robot.  The only other times I've cried as an adult is when each of my dogs died.  And for a stupid TV show.

I highly, highly recommend The Good Place to everyone.

Good news everyone, Shrek the Third is apparently old news, and the spam bot community may have moved on to a Jonny Metts news story about BMX XXX. I consider this progress.

Yeah, that one had me for a second.  I was like "wow.  that's the IP they want to bring back?"

>one of the problems is youtubers immediate dismissal of all systems not made by Sony, Nintendo, or Microsoft.

eh.  Every single system ever is met by doom and gloom by some segment of the online population.  Even those made by the big three.

The difference is, you don't see Bowser or Furukawa rolling around, swinging mud at their online "haters".  Because doing so only gives them a platform and lets then drive the narrative.

Look at how much hate and derision the Wii got when they unveiled it... yet, it was barely acknowledged by Nintendo.

Look at the initial reactions to the XBone presentation... even when Microsoft did acknowledge the negative press, they didn't attack the people themselves, but they addressed the criticisms and even made positive changes based on those criticisms.

Now, with the Amico, when people bring up concerns like input lag on the controller, the conversation shifts from that to how Tommy has haters who are out to destroy his company because they're a bunch of racists who send his family death threats and Nintendo allows rape and child porn on their systems.

And, man, I just wanna play games.  I don't even care if there's a bit of lag.  ****, I own ROB.... you wanna talk input lag.  Is it playable?  Are the games fun?  Show me the games are fun.  That's all I need to know.

I'm really disappointed with the amico.  Like, it's been delayed - that's neither surprising nor deal breaking - but...

What should be re-release hype where we're looking at game footage and sizzle reels has come down to constant bickering and squabbles between various mediocre small youtubers, other various mediocre small youtubers, and Tommy Tallarico himself.

I just wanna play fun games, not get invested in pissy youtube drama.

There's two main amico subreddits, one is virtually a mouthpiece for corporate approved messaging and the other is just where everyone shits on everything amico or Tommy Tallarico related.

There's really no where to stay tuned for game-only news without the editorialized bullshit.

For a family-friendly console that's supposed to harken back to the golden days of gaming, it sure seems lost in modern garbage.

So John Walker kills a man in an international country, which should be a MASSIVE diplomatic incident (the Black Panther storyline through Civil War and BP1)... not to mention all the bad social media presence that would cause. We saw the Dora Milaje track down Zemo and explicitly say "we have jurisdiction where we say we have it".... but John just walked off after episode 6 like nobody noticed him or knew who he was.

That stuck out a lot to me.

I mean, he killed a terrorist.

I'm not saying what he did was okay.  But what he did is what America does all the time.  Freaking presidents bomb weddings and kill kids while wearing their Nobel Peace Prize.

This shouldn't shock you or anyone in the International community.

I find Wanda's actions and lack of repercussions more shocking than Walker's.

Yeah, I loved the series, but "subtle" was not in the writer's bag o' tricks.

I was angry at the end when they called Sharon "Agent Carter".  Come on, Disney.  You know we want Agent Carter Season 3.  Like, too soon man.
