Nintendo of America has announced their plans for the annual rendition of late stage capitalism known as Black Friday.

The standard Black Friday hardware bundle will return for the week of November 21 (Sunday), with a Switch system, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and a three month individual Switch Online membership for US$299. As with last year's, this will use the 2019-revision of the Switch (increased battery life).

Software appears to be the focus this year, as Nintendo have announced discounts on a dozen titles. Mario Kart Home Circuit will be $40 off, Ring Fit Adventure will be $25 off, and the following titles will be $20 off during the same week:

• The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
• New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
• Super Mario Maker 2
• The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening
• Splatoon 2
• Paper Mario: The Origami King
• Kirby Star Allies
• Fire Emblem: Three Houses
• Astral Chain
• Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition

Nintendo of Canada's Black Friday sale makes the following changes:

• The Switch bundle is $379.99
• Ring Fit Adventure is $30 off
• The other titles are C$25 off, and only covers 8 games: Three Houses, Astral Chain, and Xenoblade Chronicles are replaced by Bravely Default II

I'll need to triple-check if I already bought Astral Chain, but I think a nice discount may get me to buy Paper Mario. I'm also tempted to buy my THIRD copy of Xenoblade Chronicles, but who knows if I'll actually finish it this time?

I am in a similar stance on Paper Mario. I have seen it for $40 before though. For $20 it would be an impulse-buy. I think $30 is the highest I will go though. I just went back to Astral Chain and it still awesome but I forgot the controls completely.

I played Hades yesterday and was kinda the same way, lol. $20 is an easy buy for Paper Mario, but $40 is good if I actually play it.

Might I suggest Super Mario Maker 2 over NSMBU? Even if you don't plan to make anything, it still offers a near limitless amount of levels to play, plus it has online co-op as well.

I picked up Melody of Memory, A Hat in Time, and that Spongebob Platformer at Gamestop during their B2G1 free sale.
