I just want them to be true!

Retro came up with some pretty crazy sh*t in Echoes in terms of boss battles. I don't think it's a leap in logic to think that they'll go even crazier for Corruption, perhaps even implement things similar to your ideas. I hope so, anyways.

True. The only boss battle I saw was crazier than anything I came up with. Of course I'm talking about the Ridley battle.

And Requiem: Whatever. To me it looked like Ian was simply responding to the idea that Nintendo COULDN'T have competed with Sony and MS with his belief (that a lot of people share) that they didn't put their best foot forward in their attempt. And, last time I checked, his was as valid an opinion as anyone else's here, so why he should be the one to "deal with it" doesn't seem fair.

Because he's really the only one that hasn't. I don't know who long you been here, but complaining is Ian's fortay. Back when Nintendo wasn't doing so well, his opinion was validated and pretty much crucial to this boards well-being. However now, when Nintendo is doing great, he still continues to complain about past events.

It's all because he refuses to deal with what Nintendo has become.

No, I did.

The only reason he's even bringing up Nintendo's business plan, is because he doesn't like it or in his words "Nintendo never gave a real effort." He doesn't like how Nintendo automatically just switched it's focus because they "showed up to a fight without properly training for it, lost, and then gave up."

It's all stemming back to how Ian feels abandoned by Nintendo as a gamer who's been with them for years. He wants his old beloved Nintendo back (as do we all), but he needs to stop grasping at false illusions or pretenses of what Nintendo was and start appreciating Nintendo now, or jump ship, or never play games again.

In other words, dealing with it.

So try to be a bigger @sshole Pittboi.

Well to be fair, Zelda's "waggle" feature was a replacement for a button, so that's not cumulative of what to expect by any means.

I think you should watch this. Here

Your whole argument stems from resentment from Nintendo not giving you want you want.

Deal with it.

OH SNAPZ!

::examines sample list::

Galaxy, possibly Brawl if I ask for it as a gift, maybe Soul Caliber...

Guess I'm not shutting the hell up.

LOL.

Dude that list hits up every single genre: from point and click, to live-action RTS. There has to be something more you are interested in.

P.S. Why did you buy a PS3? It has a worse line-up! I don't here you bitching about that!

Sounds like we have a hypocrite on our hands.

EDIT: Isn't Bee Mario just the cutest little character model you've ever seen?!

Also, that apple/worm level looks incredible.

I guess.....but money fuels businesses and not developing for the Wii is stupid "let's not make money" decision.

Everyone is waiting for THE star wars game (yes even you Ian), so why not make it?

Disappointed with E3? Sure.

Disappointed that no new killer IP (besides WiiFit) was announced? I can see that.

Disappointed in third party support? I don't see why...

Disappointed in this year's line-up? ARE YOU RETARDED?!

Can I just list some games for you?

Zack and Wiki. Endless Ocean. BWii. EA sports package. MP3. Mario Strikers. Mario Galaxy. Super Smash Bros. Soul Calibur Legends. Ghost Squad. Tony Hawk. Dragon Blade. Naruto. Guilty Gear. GodZilla. Need For Speed. Indy 500 Legends....and there's many more.

Now can you pick at least 5 games that you are interested in?

THEN SHUT THE HELL UP!

In his defense, he didn't care at all about what was going on.

Would you rather have someone like Jack Black rip the audience a new @sshole like he did when he won one of those gaming awards?

Well, I would but that's beside the point.

Pittboi, Ian, simply because nothing has been shown doesn't mean things aren't happening. Why don't we all just sit back and relax and see what happens. You can jump all over Nintendo if they lose their focus too much a year from now, but as of right now I see nothing worth getting worked up over. E3 was toned down greatly and NOONE announced anything huge. E3 is no longer an indicator of the future, it is just a small opportunity to showcase a subsection of your games that are going to be available in the near future.

You actually read it?

What if:

Samus was fighting this giant boss, whose attack was to suck things in (including samus). As the beast prepares the attack, Samus would have to first grapple beam herself to a hook. Then as she's literally hanging horizontal to the ground, you have to manuever your cannon in the general direction of the beast and charge and fire a super missle. Meanwhile, your view is going hay-wire as you shake with turbulence.

I think that would be a pretty cool boss.

Or What if:

Samus grapples to an object and the only way to blow up said object is to aim at your grapple beam and shoot a charged Wave beam at it. The beam then clings to your grapple and follows it like a trail of lit gun powder.

Or What if:

There is a boss that travels furiously fast, is enourmously huge, and is the first water boss in Metriod history (i think). Samus must grapple to it's back and as she hangs on for dear life, water ski as she tries to kill the damn thing! Knowing Retro, it would be crazy! Water would spray in your face, obstructing your view.

Or What if:

Samus obtains the ability to use bombs outside of her ball state. She grabs a bomb with her left hand and with the nunchuck, chucks it where ever she likes. There are two settings for the bomb: Gravity and Anti-Gravity. Gravity acts like a normal grenade, while Anti-gravity floats upwards very slowly. While Gravity bombs blow up on impact, Anti-gravity bombs must be shot. Anti-Gravity bombs also cause a much bigger explosion.

Or What if:

One of Samus's grapple beam upgrades turns it into a laserbeam type sword. Not neccessarily to attack with since that is not Metriod at all, but more to cut through vegitation, carve through blast-proof windows, and things of that nature (another way to advance exploration basically).

Or What if:

One of Samus's grapple beam upgrades allows for more than one grapple. This would be used to pull multiple triggers (similar to how Zelda's boomerang can lock on to multiple items, and used in basically the same fashion; i.e. puzzle-solving, boss-battle, taming a gaint beast to fly or swim). OOOOOOOOH!!!! That would be amazing! Imagine taming a giant manitee to explore an ocean. You can still shoot with the Wiimote. The nunchuck, however, would steer the beast (or it could steer itself, probably better). Or what if you tamed a giant pterodactyl to fly and access a new area, only to be shot at by Flying Space Pirates. That sounds like a sh!tload of fun, especially if the beast reacted to the shooting and swooped and tried to dodge.

Alright, that's enough for one day. You guys get the jist of it anyways...

^^^^ Agreed!

I don't want to watch everyone get drunk, I want to show up when everyone is drunk. I pre-game to get drunk and then go out to party.

It's also essential to show up with AT LEAST two girls, just cause girls can be very shallow and just walking in with two of them makes you stand out above the rest.
