My guess is that he sold everything to pay for the sword. I mean you start out sword & shield so he should at least have that unless he sold it. Either that or he thought it was funny to do stupid stuff like that.

At first I thought this "Thanatos" guy was Tanatoes from this forum, and I forgot to check before doing a quest. Otherwise I probably would have told him that we were waiting for someone.

Rathlos and Rathian,Barioth, Lagiacrus.

Stratos how close are you to HR 50? 1 or 2 levels?

I'm probably going to work on a status up set. I think I saw one a few days ago that had beneba+ and Aknotor+ armor. That might work better than the Giganox+ armor I had thought of as far as resistances.

For some reason the Rathalos quest I wanted to do wasn't available but the advanced version was. Had a good team that made short work of him but after we captured him & I started to mine away at some ore my connection dies & everything goes back to pre quest status. Oh & we hunted yet another Agnaktor before that.

I have it and it gives a good Dragon element attack and works well or Rathina/Rathalos when they are weakened to the ground.

Sword and shields work best when you using a sword that fits the elemental weakness. Lugiacrus armor works best with elemental swords. If you don`t have that armor I really wouldn't use them.

I nearly have the full set of Lagiacrus armor. All I need is the helmet, but I need three Lagi horns to forge it. I also need two more horns to craft my bolt axe. As soon as I am finished upgrading my Rathalos armor, I am going to focus on my Lagiacrus armor.

All I need is the arm armor for my Rathalos armor to have it complete. I spent some time today upgrading that armor and intend to finish it.

Maxi and every one else, here is my plan:

I want to finish off both my Rathalos and Lagiacrus armor sets.

I want to fully upgrade them both to their maximum setting.

I want to upgrade my Peco Hammer to the Red Bludgeon.

Finish off my Level 3 quests

Stock up on healing items and other needed goods.

Once all of this is complete, I intend to take a week off, perhaps two, to rest. This is for real this time and I intend to return to take on the level four quests and upgrade y stuff further.

It's pretty good against the Rath twins, although it doesn't work so well versus the last couple of monsters in the game. For them, other weapon types would be preferable, if you can handle them.
