What's so gross about mounting the heads of your kills in a trophy room? Would look pretty cool if you asked me. Show them in proper scale according to their size. That way if you bag an exceptionally huge specimen it just dominates the wall.

It would be neat if longest/shortest kills could be shared among friends in the game.

By the way, just checked my notes. Longest thing slain was an Agnaktor that was 3176.2cm. Though I'm guessing the gold crown is a monster's maxed size & the biggest one of those was a 2143.4cm Rathalos.

No, gold doesn't mean it is the largest, but it is close. The Monster Hunter Wiki shows the largest and smallest possible sizes that they can be, and Agnaktor is 3,339.1cm.

Anyways, now that I'm back, let's take a roll call. Who is still an active player? Looking at the previous few pages, it would seem we have:

GK - G K
Kytim89 - TRUNKS
Maxi - Maxi
Mop_it_up - Damsel
Rachtman - Racht
Sundoulos - Sundolos
Stratos - Stratos

Did I miss anyone?

We need to badger Lindy to pop back in from time to time. Or did he make a formal resignation announcement earlier in the thread or on the 'cast that I missed?

Didn't Lindy's Wii die & the repair erased the Monster Hunter data? Or was that someone else?

I just defeated Barroth on my own on the offline mode, now it is time for Gobul on the offline, but I want to have the bolt ax available and fully upgraded and maybe the Lagiacrus armor available and upgraded.

It can take a while to get the Bolt axe upgraded fully because you need Lagi+ parts and you can only get those online for High rank. Also need Lagia Sapphire which you get High Rank online. I just upgraded it fully last night. I also have a Sinister Saints Switchaxe.Go me!

I have just about upgraded my Barroth armor fully. I took on Lagiacrus on my own and managed to wound his chest and break his horn  with my Peco Flint hammer, but he took me down anyway. I resorted to hit and tactics, but I still need better armor. I have Rathalos armor and would like to complete that set, upgrade my peco flint to a rathalos hammer and get the bolt axe.

OK I kinda forgot that today was Saturday so starting in the morning I will be helping out HR30 and lower. 10am PST I will probably open a room.I'll probably be gathering materals for some things that I need to upgrade. So if I am on a quest just wait patently in the room till I get back from the quest.

Tonight I will make my return to the online arena and I want to hunt Lagiacrus for armor and weapons. I am going to stay away from Uragaan and Diablos until I get a little stronger. I want to focus on Rathalos when I get the Bolt axe and complete my Rathalos armor and upgrade my peco flint again to the red bludgeon.

How does Lagiacrus armor stand up against Gobul?

Gobul doesn't use lightning attacks, so Lagiacrus armour has no benefit. Gobul has just one elemental attack (water), so whatever set you have with the highest defense is the best choice.

I almost have my Barroth armor fully upgraded. Just a few more advanced armor spheres from Mount Doom(volcano) and I am set. I do want an electric weapon for Gobul. I atleast want the bolt axe upgraded or my peco flint upgraded.

Lagiacus armor has decent water defense as well thus why I didn't bother trying to upgrade my Ludroth set. That plus its elemental attack boosts makes it my armor of choice against Gobul, Royal Ludroth, & Lagiacrus. Just have to remember to bring the right elemental weapon for the job.

Well there was some new event quests. There was a 2 Lagi quest in the Water arena.Thankfully the second one wasn't there at the start. Me,Stratos and Mop it up handle them. There is a weapon you can get from that event quest a Thunder Longsword. I managed to get the 5 tickets needed in that one quest to get it. 50,000 but worth it.

Man, oh man... I've been stuck on HR 17 for a looooooong time now.  I have one more rank 2 quest left to do...hunting a Gobul, I believe. Then I should receive an Urgent Quest, right? I sure hope so.

Oh, and I fought Lagiacrus last night for the first time.  Wow, that was fun.
