Maybe it's the people I've been doing it with that makes it seem challenging.  :-\

Most likely, organization goes a long way. If you don't have people who know what they are doing, you're going to have a tough time.

How late will you be on? I'm going over to my folks to help move some stuff but I'll be on later. Love to help you finish the early missions.

Hey all, just wanted to let you know that the Monster Hunter Club is of course meeting tonight, same time, same place.

I may or may not show up depending on how I feel.  I'm pretty freaking exhausted after my weekend, which was a wedding out in San Francisco for a longtime buddy of mine.  The whole thing was go-go-go with plenty of drinking, and my Sunday night Monday morning went like this:

5pm Wedding
6pm Cocktails
7pm Reception
1am Hotel After-Party
2am Back to hotel room to pack
3am Leave for airport
6am Flight leaves
<change from Pacific to Eastern>
2:30pm Get home

I didn't sleep much the rest of the day either...so I'm a little exhausted right now.  I just don't feel "right", if you know what I'm saying.  Work is hella busy too, and I'm trying to sell my car during all this, so I'm pretty much zonked.

But yeah, definitely get on and hunt some monsters.  Don't let my whining hold you back. ;)

That Diablos really tossed us about. :P

I seem to be getting more irritated at the fights than I used to. Gigginox seems to cheat and other monsters I recall not having too much trouble with are giving me a lot of grief now. Though it may be because I'm playing with different people.

Yeah, I need a new armor set before I try that one again. Part of why I'm not at the urgent yet is because I've been focusing on collecting money & material. Think I need Rathian's tail of the chest plate but even after slicing that off a few times I've never actually collected the item. Same with Lagi. Wondering if those are easier to get when you fight them while wandering in Moga Woods or something.

A lot if not all of the monsters have a cheap move or two up their sleeve. What gets me is how they seem to know who has the least amount of life or poorest defense at times & will chase them around. Uragaan for example seems to just have it in for me. Even when I was playing an event where you battled him & Diablos in the arena, Uragaan would roll my way the majority of the fight. Most of the time I was taking on Diablos then BAM rolled over from behind.
