They censor the word 'after'...

Someone can be offended by saying "after"? This game is rated T, right?

That's what is funny. The characters in the game use soft swears like "hell" and "damn," yet those words are censored in the chat.

The word "after" is censored because apparently, it means something like "anus" in German. Remember, however, that this game has region-specific online play, meaning we can't play with people in Germany.

This game amazes me, but it is for all the wrong reasons.

Is anyone still on the lower level hunts? I would like to try playing with some NWR folks but I just now opened up two star quests.
Bless you, my child.

Just need to hunt a Gobul & capture Barroth to finish up my 2 stars. I should be able to pull those off sometime this weekend.

I have a handful of 2 star quests left to do, and my HR isn't near high enough to get to the next level, so I'll be able to help out on those for sure.

By the way, does anyone know how to hand over items to other players?
Go into the item pouch, select the item, select give, and select the player. Note that you cannot give any item with a rarity rating of 4 or higher.

I'm in the 2-star bracket as well. I still have the fishing quest on the 1-star to finish as well but I'm saving it for when a newer player needs to complete it or when a number of us just want to play together and gather resources.

I'm gonna be online shortly if anyone else is game.

Thanks for the info earlier.  I tried the online mode and it's pretty fun (found some people who were very patient while I figured out what I was doing), but I do think I need to get a keyboard (probably this weekend).  My hunter ID # is FNEEY7 (hunter name Tariq).  See you folks around in the city.

There is a separate Monster Hunter ID thread, if you'd like to post your ID there.  I look forward playing together sometime.  I've had good experiences playing with NWR folks...other than Mop It Up calling me a wimp.  :P: :   Of course, it was my fault for dying twice during a fight with Barroth.

I'm planning to play on-line some late tonight and Saturday.  I have some catching up to do.

I started having some connection issues right when you left and it booted me from the server so it worked out fine.

I just played some single player for a bit. Cleared everything up to the Gobul hunt and I almost took out the Lagiacrus. Took his tail, had him limping a lot. But I died with about 2 minutes on the clock. I think now that I've got his patterns down the next try will be it.

You want to try online again?

I should have friend-ed him before I left. The more the merrier I figure.

I friend-ed that ELI fellow we played with the other night. Remember he and that other guy, Wario, played with us? I showed up online today and ELI was there with some other dude and they were running around talking about something. They didn't seem to notice me there even though I could hear him talking. It then sounded like someone's mother started getting mad at one of them or something. I then saw that Mop it up was on elsewhere and warped. Weird...

I'm hopping back on again if anyone is still up. I'm at HR16 and would like to hit 18 tonight. I also need to harvest some Issinium (sp?) or whatever that metal is that you get on the ice world. I have not opened it up in solo play so I can only gather there on the quests.

Por Que? ;)

Anyone up for a quick hunt or two? I was off tonight but the closing manager called sick so I'm working at 5PM Pacific.

I just beat the first Lagiacrus quest offline and was depressed when it ran away...I wanted to harvest it. At least I got it's tail.
