Quick Story Notes:
Hammond and co. meet up with Arnold and Muldoon. They still want to turn on the breaker. They go to the breaker room. Arnold flips the switches and full power comes back on. He wants to head back to the main control room and get things fixed. Hearing about the raptor on the way to Hammond's compound, Muldoon wants to accompany Hammond and hunt down the remaining raptors and escort Hammond. Arnold goes back to the compound upset and alone. He's had it with these mother****ing dinosaurs on this mother****ing island. As he comes out of the clearing to the main lodge, he gets shot. Some of the surviving crew have found some weapons and fearing the rustling to be a dinosaur, they blindly shot in the woods killing him. Oblivion would equal Arnold. I know Stogi took him to roleplay but he was a raptor so this works better storywise. The survivors then start turning on one another over the death causing this scene to be an odd and ill-timed commentary about present day racial relations.
Meanwhile, along the way to Hammond's compound, the familiar roar of the T. Rex can be heard. Thinking it is behind them, Hammond speeds up. However, the T. Rex comes out of the jungle in front of them. Hammond slams on the brakes and starts putting it in reverse. Muldoon takes some shots at it. This just makes it madder. Muldoon grabs a bazooka and stands up to shoot at the T. Rex. The Jeep hits a pothole causing Muldoon to fall out. Cursing his luck, Muldoon scrambles into the jungle. The T. Rex chases after. Leaping through bushes, Muldoon jumps over the edge of a long slope into a river valley having not been able to see what was past the bushes. He tumbles down. The T. Rex barges through the bushes also and is unable to stop. It falls rolling down the cliff. At the bottom of the slope in the river is a tree that had fallen in with its gnarled trunk sticking up in the air. The T. Rex slams into it. The tree trunk bursts through the T. Rex's chest impaling and killing it. Muldoon counts his blessings and starts finding a way to Hammond's compound.
At Hammond's compound, they find the gate to it is open. Arming themselves, the small group enters. They find the bloody remains of Nedry aka Nickmitch killed from a raptor attack. Fearing the raptors could still be in the house, the party huddles together and starts making their way to the panic room. They creep along when a voice calls out behind them to freeze. They look behind startled from the yell. It is one of the rangers of the park. He's got a gun aimed at the children. Hammond demands to ask what is going on but the ranger orders him and the others to put down their weapons or he will fire shoot the children. Upset at such a dirty tactic, Hammond and Ellie put down their weapons being able to stop the ranger. He orders them all back to the main foyer.
Ellie starts explaining to him that the dinosaurs are loose and they've already killed someone in this house and could still be here. Whatever he's doing, this is only going to put him and everyone else in danger. They should be working together to stay safe and stop the dinosaurs. The ranger explains he's not worried and has it all worked out. Plus, he saw the raptors leave a long time ago and if any are still around, his plan is to use Hammond and the others as bait. He tells him there best chance of survival is to be very quiet. Then he sits on a couch and watches them as they stand in the middle of the room.
Hammond and the others try to bargin with him and ask what he wants but he warns them to stop talking or he will just kill them now. After some time, a noise is heard outside. Something is approaching. The ranger motions for the group to be silent and then sneaks over to a window to look outside at what is out there. The ranger signals to the group that it is a raptor approaching and then gets behind a couch aiming his gun at the door. Hammond and the others stand very worried as the watch for the raptor to come through door and wonder how they can escape of the ranger will protect. The latch on the door is slowly pulled down and then the door slowly swings open. Suddenly, Muldoon comes through the doorway, rifle drawn. Hammond and the others gasp in fear and then stop as their brains try to connect the actual appearance of Muldoon instead of the expected appearance of a raptor. What's all this about Muldoon asks in surprise at the group standing before him and beginning to lower his weapon. Look out, they yell but it is too late. As Muldoon quickly begins to raise his rifle and look for the danger, the ranger shoots him dead from his hiding spot.
