Since apparently Redd only shows up once a month for me and I want to have a full collection of both forged (for a haunted house I'm planning) and Genuine paintings, I am going to have to rely on the generosity of others to build up my art collection. I doubt that I'm alone in this, so I'm going to ask that anyone who has seen Redd please post here.

I was not able to purchase art from the boat when I had a visitor on the island last time i tried. But it was also my first time getting onto the boat, so I don't if that makes a difference.

Don't fucking tell me they cut us off from traveling to other islands to buy **** from Redd. They already made Redd more than obnoxious enough to get to without Time Traveling.

You can buy art from other people's Redd shops. I've seen people hosting online with the option.
I have two other local accounts on the island so I just use them to purchase extras. I was saving one fake to pass around so people didn't have to buy the fakes, but if you want to collect all the fakes I will help. Someone decoded the appearance rate.
Kicks, Saharah and Leif will always appear each week on week days, providing that the players meet certain criteria (such as having Abel's Sisters built). The remaining two weekday NPC slots will be randomly filled by Gulliver, Label, CJ, Flick or Redd. The other NPCs will be given priority for the following week, using a form of bad luck prevention.
Ninji also confirmed Animal Crossing: New Horizons how the other two major NPCs - Celeste and Wisp - appear on the island. Celeste will appear on the island on days when meteor showers are due to appear. If a player is due to have two or more meteor showers in a week, Celeste will randomly appear on one of those nights. Wisp will also appear on the island once per week.
They aren't that pricey to buy so I'll just buy them all every time he comes and share the extras. Might make a 4th local account just so I can always buy all 4.

Can someone explain to me why the hell Leif needs to be in town every fucking week? All he does is waste an NPC slot that could go to someone who's actually worth a damn.

I bought a bunch of **** from Leif because I thought he was a limited time thing (since he came with Earth Day or w/e) and was upset when he was back days later. I haven't seen Redd all week, so I'm glad I can expect him next week, lol. But I do feel like there are days when I don't see anyone?

Redd is in town today (well, yesterday, I TT'd back because I didn't get a chance to play last night due to someone hogging my Switch all night so I'm playing makeup this morning).
There are three fake paintings here: Serene Painting, Academic Painting, and Scenic Painting. I bought the real one myself and my other local accounts can buy two of them to share. Pokepal, did you want to come get the last fake one? (I'll wait before buying any of the fakes in case anyone else wants to come grab them).

I got really lucky last night. I had Redd and a meteor shower at the same time. It was a hoot.
So I used TT to go back to last night's shooting star/celeste/redd party so people have a shot at rare items. The dodo code is FN4T3.

Pah, looks like I can't buy another art piece in a different town. I could come back with other local accounts if you have the island open to non-friends.
Are you buying any of them? Statue is real, Tablet is fake, Jolly painting is real, Mona Lisa is fake.

Apparantly meteor showers are more common than Redd is in this game. I've had two more of them but no sign of Redd since the 19th.

Redd Showed up yesterday, but things were pretty busy so couldn't open things up. Bought three of the four art pieces. Last one is a fake Academic Painting. You want to come grab it? I can roll back to yesterday so you can get it still.
Other three were Wistful, Famous, and Twinkling paintings. I didn't check their authenticity yet but Twinkling is guaranteed authentic. You can have any other fakes once they come in.

I finally got redd again the other day but I was a bit busy so I wasn't able to open up.
Apparently I'll have to resort to Time Travel to finish the museum in my lifetime.

Redd is in town today. Only one real that I nabbed. Got three fakes.
Famous & Wistful paintings (repeats in my store), and Beautiful statue.
I'll grab the fake statue, but already have the other two fakes set aside for you. Kind of frustrating that even the fakes are frequent repeaters (its like the 3rd time I've had a fake wistful).

He showed up on my island with all fakes the other day so I basically said **** it and went full Time Travel cheater on him.
My island is trapped in a groundhog day style time loop. My ransom: All of the real paintings and statues so I can fill up the museum and focus on getting fakes.

At this point, I've already broken my vow to not use Time Travel for the museum to try to fill the art gallery so I might as well go all the way.
