Live in SoCal? Play Super Smash Bros. Brawl on Friday, Feb. 8!
« on: February 04, 2008, 12:27:02 PM »

Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Wii won't come in the United States out until March 9. That's not going to stop us from playing it, though! We here at Nintendo World Report have the Japanese version, and are itching to play it with as many people as possible!

If you want to play Brawl before its release and brag to your friends, join NWR Director Steven Rodriguez at his home in the Los Angeles area (Simi Valley, CA) this Friday, Feb. 8 for an evening of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It's totally free! All you need to do is bring yourself, your friends, your Wavebird or Wii Classic controller, and your own food and drink to partake in the festivities. (Alcohol is okay, but please keep it casual. Same deal with smoking.)

If you plan on attending, please email or PM me with your name, how many people you think you can bring, and what time you plan on arriving and leaving. Space (and the amount of time you get to play!) may be limited, so please be aware of that.  Festivities will begin as early as 2 p.m. and will go on as late as 2 a.m.  You don't have to stay the entire time, but if you leave early, you'll be missing out on Smash Bros. Brawl!

Notice: Your gameplay may be recorded for use on Nintendo World Report. We also may ask you questions about the game for use in article on Nintendo World Report. By attending this event, you agree to follow all rules laid out by the host, and may be asked to leave if you do not respect the rules, the host's home or his family members. Keep it clean and friendly!
