I know, its weird how its playing out. Its as if in playing hookey from the "big game," they are letting two big, bad schoolyard bullies to really get to know one another, knowing what will inevitably then ensue. Problem solved?
At first, nintendo was scaring me with their "Blue Ocean" nonsense speak. I'm actually unfortunately familiar with corporate jargon, and hearing that kind of corporate theory come from Nintendo was quite disheartening and put a solid knot in my stomache. But their master plan is starting to show itself, and it really is epic. Provided things play out as they're appearing to be, the NES will no longer be remembered as their big, bold accomplishment, which is fscking INSANE to think about!
/methinks this is perhaps something they've been hammering out for a long time, while Yamauchi was still in the big chair. I mean, surely this isn't all a plan by Satoru Iwata...
Right?
