It's probably safe to assume that most of RFN's listeners were not ecstatic after Nintendo's E3 press conference. It can be safely stated that Jon, Greg, and James weren't either.
With Jonny in California, covering E3, and the "fans" "demanding" our "opinions," we decided to give them a 20 minute "quicky." 2 Hours later we had alienated the entire E3 field team.

I currently do not own a console other than Wii. I've been leaning towards picking up a 360 for a while, and since I got a HDTV a few months back, I think it's very likely that I'll get one in the not-too-distant future. This is not due to any dissatisfaction with what I'm getting out of Wii, in fact I've only been getting more and more use out of it over the past few months with Brawl and great third party titles like Boom Blox, Pro Evo, and Okami. My interest is due to the software library that the 360 has now built up (though I remain relatively unenthused by FPS games, but I'd doubtlessly get some of them with a 360 anyway).
Where's the Lords of Thunder love? The second time Greg, James and Jon are together, and no mention of Lords of Thunder? C'mon now... :(
Podcast Mercenaries FTW!
It'll be interesting when Nintendo brings Retro back into the limelight. With their key people uncermoniously canned, what direction will Retro take?
One point I think hasn't been touched on is that this was a lame E3 even for casual gamers.

But they won't even notice! They're still too busy playing The Wii Bowling Machine!
Lest Greg worry that his maidenhood is at risk, rest assured that I'm happily married, safely ensconced on another continent, and quite certain that the closest I'll come to buggery is a rousing game of Bugdom 2 on the Mac.
Well D _Average, I'd scarcely pass up the opportunity to see my beloved Bills in person another time, but I can't forsee that I'd be out of the country around Christmas time. Your thoughtfulness is very much appreciated though.
Since DAAaman failed at his job I am going to have to ask Crimm if the podcast is coming today. So Criimm will a podcast be worming its way in today?
