NOTE: There is no video game discussion on this week's episode. Since both Jonny and Guillaume were out this week, James, Greg, and Jon decided to indulge themselves and take the opportunity to record an NFL "sportscast". If you have no interest in NFL football, you can look forward to next week's episode when our regular content will resume.

With both Jonny and Guillaume taking the week off, we could have opted to forego having a show this week. But that's just not our style. Instead, the rest of the crew was able to entice Greg Leahy to return for a one-night-only engagement. The only topic that could draw the king out of his self-imposed exile? NFL football, of course.

In this episode we break down each division, giving our thoughts on each team and our picks for division winners. We then predict wild card teams, conference champions, and the winner of the Super Bowl.

Do you agree with our picks? Do you think we know what we're talking about? Do you even care? Find out in this rollicking roller-coaster ride of pigskin prognostication.

Just don't say we didn't warn you. Please understand.

Not enough pirates, we demand sweetpete

I plan on listening to this tomorrow, but I thought I'd point out my bold prediction of about an hour ago that the Cleveland Browns will be a playoff team this season barring any additional major injuries ahead of that.

I'll make the comment I make when my friends talk football (which all goes over my head). "Go sports!" *enthusiastic  air punch*

I have almost no interest in american football but i found this great just to listen to just to hear all three of you just banter so recklessly.

THERE WILL BE CORN.

I would listen to RFN Football Chat every week. This was great.

Unfortunately not even the presence of Sir Leahy could get me to care about sports. I will catch you fine gentlemen next week.

You guys are crazy to put Pittsburgh in the playoff picture. They'll be lucky not to finish in last in that division. I also find it odd that you didn't talk about the Browns defense beyond Ray Horton, as they've got a fairly impressive unit there, especially in the front 7. And while the jury is still out on Brandon Weeden, his play in the preseason so far shows that he's made great strides in terms of decision making and downfield accuracy.

Confirmed: Insanolord is a Browns fan.

Seriously, look at the team and tell me they don't have the potential to have a breakout year. A very young and inexperienced (or in Weeden's case, just inexperienced) team with a ton of talent, and a much better coaching staff than they've had in 20 years to bring the best out of them. They could win that division, or they could lose 10-12 games, but don't write them off just because they're the Browns.

And my intense hatred of the Steelers has nothing to do with my analysis of them. Injury prone QB, tons of questions at RB, very lousy O-line, depleted receiving corps, and a rapidly aging defense; even in a very weak AFC, they're taking a step back from an already mediocre 2012.

I'm pretty skeptical of both teams TBH, but the Steelers are a proven commodity that knows how to win. The Browns have potential, but so do, say, the Kansas City Chiefs, and I don't believe in them either.

I think the Chiefs will be this year's Colts. Win a lot of close games against mediocre teams. Maybe eke out a win against the Broncos or some shit. Get blown out when they play good teams. Go 10-6, and lose in the first round of the playoffs to the Patriots.

you three are supposed to invite stan and carl on the show when Greg's around and Jonny is away

As much as I love 103, I'd take Jon, James and Greg doing sports analysis over that anytime.
