If you only listen to one podcast this year, listen to this one. Then break the rules and listen again.

Although Mike is technically the only one of us with a girlfriend, everyone present goes to task during the feature section, giving you helpful tips and anecdotes on how to use your games to score chicks. If you've already got a girlfriend, though, be sure to pay attention when we talk about "relationship-friendly" titles - surprisingly, such a catalog is more robust than you'd think.

When we're not ranting about the infinite usefulness of Cranium, though, there's tons else to listen to, from Guitar Hero coming to Wii, the AIAS Award Winners, Listener Mail, and more. Also, be sure to listen in for a new code word to use for our DS Lite contest.

What was the background noise? Loved the last commercial.

By accident, Mike had set his input method to his PowerBook's internal mic instead of his iSight camera like he usually does. So what you're hearing is the cooling fan.

You mean TP right?

150 Bucks... Hmm... That sort of steep.

Can we say Pippen? Also only in Niche will people come to Games, like the V.Smile.

Another interesting concept would be the next GB being a Phone.

The iPod had iTunes. What new can they bring to games?

Yeah, I know. Women will lure you in with them playing games but when you get into a serious relationship with them you find out that they really don't.

Poor KDR.

Once you become one with the Wii not training will be required.

No.

lol

Sad but true. I would also throw in SSBM there too...

Yep Yep. Them not caring during the Gamecube.

Sonic and the Onion Ring looks good but I say Dewy looks better.

If they are just getting out then you know. Though I want to know how different can it be then programming for the Broadband adapter.

Yes he did say that.

That would be sweetly cool.

Updates...

That would be cool.

I do have to sort of agree on Zelda.

IGN Did.

Did Hallmark and Gamestop pay for that?

My CompFriend...

I have a Wife does that count?

30? ok... Just 30?

My Wife doesn't want to play WiiSport... Ever it's like pulling teeth.

I don't think Rayman Raving Rabbids is to good for that...

So I need to get Mario to lure wife...

I actually got my first Mario Kart game because my wife liked the series. She still barely played it.

I don't want to seem weak.

...With Christ! Oh Wait wrong Podcast.

Yep...

Animal Crossing.

Super Swing Golf. Dress up... Which is sort of weird with my wife.

The Female Gaming population rocks.

That was sort of lame. Most girls would have initially dumped Joe.

My Wife didn't like Nintendogs but liked Brain Age and Animal Crossing.

That takes the surprise away. I mean it's like your wife asking if you want to do things instead of coming at you.

lol. Be cool if it identify the games. Yeah... Hey wait who was it that was looking forward to Manhunt?

DDR.

Lots of girls like DDR.

Great publicity.

I'm here more then on iTune. Plus you wouldn't get this level stream of consciousness.

Where's Pale?

My Wife botched Valentine Day...

Is Karl trying to sound like Spike Spiegel in the second commercial, or is that just a coincidence? Regardless, my hat's off to you, sir.

Great podcast but is anyone else having trouble with iTunes. The new episode hasn't appeared yet and it's been almost 12 hours?

Yeah, the podcast came up late, so your not crazy.

I have no idea what kind of gorls you guys are finding, but games never work. Insults do. You compilment them first then insult them the next moment. Next thing you know is that you end up with some sort of weird quasi-disfunctional relationship with a girl who is normally far out of your reach. True story.

Lesson learnt. Compilment and insult. Repeat.

Games aren't about killing people? Umm, Windy, what games have you been playing? All of the biggest games out there (Halo, Gears of War, Resident Evil 4, etc.) are all about killing. In gory ways, too.

I say Manhunt should go out of its way to be as completely over-the-top as it possibly can. Push the envelope to force the discussion.

"You won't score in the game, but you will score in life". hahaha you guys rule.

Games my girlfriend loves to play: Nintendogs, Wii Sports, Karaoke Revolution: American Idol, Big Brain Academy, Brain Age, WarioWare: Smooth Moves

Games my girlfriend loves to watch me play: Gears of War, Super Mario Bros.

She likes Gears of War because "it looks like an action movie". She likes SMB strictly for nostalgia value.

You guys should have had me on this podcast. My girlfriend contradicts a lot of what you said. She started by simply watching me play through those 60 hour RPGs like Ocarina of Time and Chrono Cross. In fact, I know a lot of women who are more attracted to those games because of the story elements. In junior high and high school I was always trading games with my teachers and newspaper editors, and the games that they borrowed were pretty much all RPGs.

Later on she got really into Animal Crossing. She's replayed Medal of Honor Frontline for years and has beaten it countless times as well gotten gold stars on all the levels. She's played through Call of Duty Big Red One and Call of Duty 3, and once in a while, she'll ask if I'll play Halo with her even though she's never gotten into the single player. On top of that she's gone through a good portion of Trauma Center, beaten Phoenix Wright and Hotel Dusk, and now she's working on Phoenix Wright 2. Oh and she plays Wii Sports and checks out the Everybody Votes channel daily. She's also talking about going through the entire Zelda series in sequence.

She's not quite a hardcore gamer, but she definitely likes to check out whatever I'm into. And she most likely wouldn't have played much if we hadn't gotten together. So, chew on that.

Your girlfriend doesn't happen to be my sister? She doesn't replay games over and over again like your GF, she is a bit more casual about it all, but once she gets her teeth into a game she doesn't let go until she is done.

She is great to bring alot to play CS as she takes great pleasure in beating down the male population and is one of the few (only?) people that can read my moves and hit me from nowhere.

She loves SSBM, fighters, some FPS, Pyhconaunts, doesn't really like RPGs. Plays AC DS and Nintendogs. She is weird.

Also, don't bother me for an introduction. She is taken by a tabletop player who is her B!tch.

A tabletop player??? Come on, don't you want something better for your sister? Let me help you make an intervention. :-)
