Did you like the third game? Let your fellow listeners know in TalkBack! Think you've got a better choice? Send it my way and your request may be the third game next Radio Trivia: Podcast Edition! Heck, throw in a question and specific songs if you want. Just remember, it has to be a game found on a Nintendo system in North America (unless we say otherwise)!

Awesome. I've got the first two on the first song so far.... Props for game #2, I love it!

... stumped on game #3, don't own it, haven't played it ... same for game #4, though the music kicks ass.

If I can figure out #5 #5 is in the bag on the first song.

I guess I have the usual 3/5 score.

Regarding parenthetical discussion on first game: The biggest problem with one on one battle mode is the time limit.  You can't turn it off and play elimination style.  Also, the levels are so enormous that you can go the full time without ever scoring a hit.

I love song three on game one so much.  It's close to the top of the list of game music I want to try to recreate in Guitar Hero World Tour.

I narrowed game four down to a few games because goat has done awesome rock mixes of these songs on OC Remix.  Unfortunately, I threw away the right answer because I didn't realize they were all combined in one medley in his remix.  This confused me enough that I guessed completely wrong, even though the right answer was the one that came to mind first.  I'm very disappointed in myself.

I only got the right series on the last game.  The question sort of led me to 4.  I plan to play it one of these days.

So I got the first two easily and then got tortured with stuff I should have been able to get for the rest of the show.

Edit:  TYP, why do you say you can't always use the listener requests?  Is it a matter of being unable to find the music?  Not wanting to play extremely obscure stuff?  Listeners requesting repeats?

2 outa 5 so far and I suck at this!  Dude I totally could tell what 2 was even on the first song. hahhaa Thank you TYP for making this podcast.

First one was pretty easy, game two I was able to narrow it down to a couple (though I did have the trivia question right off the bat), I'm somewhat ashamed I had to think about the third one, I've heard of the fourth one, fifth one totally stumped me.

I sometimes can't use requests for a variety of reasons. Every once in a while I simply veto it because I just hate the music, but that's very, very rare. Usually I can't find the music, the game has already been used, the game wasn't released in North America, or it wasn't on a Nintendo platform.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I sometimes question whether doing this is worth the effort--positive feedback is very welcome.

A marvellous episode, thanks very much TYP and James! A personal best-equalling 4/5 for me, even though two of those correct answers were games I have not played (yay for hint questions). Also, this made back-to-back episodes with 8-bit music I actually knew--astounding.

I don't think so. Unless you forgot to mark your name.
