Ubi Soft is bringing over an installment of the infamous Chessmaster series to the GBA. Full details inside.

Ubi Soft is bringing the infamous Chessmaster series to the Game Boy Advance. Much like its critically acclaimed predecessors, the game will feature many scaleable levels of difficulty, to challenge everyone from the novice chess player to those who believe they can defeat the legendary (in gaming circles anyways) Chessmaster.

Chessmaster will also feature an all-inclusive tutorial mode that will teach new chess players the basics and subtle intricacies of the ages-old game, as well as 150 famous pre-recorded matches to watch and learn new strategies from. Other notable features to be included in this game are nine extra chess sets to play with aside from the classic set, along with six different opponents to challenge.

As should be expected, the game will feature link-play for head-to-head matches with two gamers going at it on their GBAs. Whether the game will also allow you to play two-player matches on one GBA, or even using two GBAs and one cart remains to be seen.
