Namco Bandai is developing a sequel in the Taiko Drum Master series for Nintendo's console.

A new listing from Japanese retailer Gmstar reveals that a new entry in the Taiko no Tatsujin (known as Taiko: Drum Master in North America) series entitled Taiko no Tatsujin Wii Dodon to Ni-Dai-Me will be released on Wii. The title is a follow up to the original Taiko no Tatsujin for Wii released last year in Japan.

The sequel will include 70 songs spanning different music genres including J-pop and theme songs from various anime series. There will be new modes as well, including a boss mode and daily challenge mode. There are also new sound effects to replace the standard drum sounds.

Taiko no Tatsujin Wii Dodon to Ni-Dai-Me will be released on November 19 and will be available as a standalone game for ¥5,040 (approximately $57) or a bundle with a drum controller for ¥7,980 (approximately $90).
